Ivan and the crew did a remarkable job of repairing any and all cracks and holes in my flat roof. I hired them to conduct a maintenance service on my house, which is on the market. I wanted to preemt a poor inspection report and they did a terrific job of bringing my 30 year old roof up to date. AJ's stripped the roofing down to the metal deck and placed a layer of Densdeck (concrete board) on top of the metal deck followed by 6 inches of insulation and another layer of Densdeck and finished with a TPO roof. Because of the noise issues we were experiencing with the metal deck we were looking for solutions. Alex knew exactly the materials needed to improve the noise issue, and I talked with a lot of roofers. In fact the noise is so greatly improved it is no longer really an issue and we have had significant rain since the install in February and no water penetration. The pricing was excellent, the warranty as good or better than most of the quotes we received and we are delighted with the new roof. Very good service for estimate. Was on time, and thoroughly reviewed roof and needed maintenance. Gave us estimate on the spot. Reasonably priced! They were the only ones that mentioned that the roofing penetrations should have the existing mortar removed to the base of the penetration and then re-sealed with newer material that would last longer than used in the past. No drama! When they came to look at the house for the estimate, he was very careful to give me all the information. He took photographs of the roof, he drew diagrams to explain, he asked me if I was comfortable to get up on the ladder, and then showed me the issues. He found so many issues and problems, that none of the other contractors found, however, the estimate wasn't that much more. He finished on time. There was an issue getting some of the products and they communicated to keep me informed, then quickly got me rescheduled. The work looks good. The photographs of the roof looked terrific. We had a roof replaced 4 years ago by Oteros, they went out of business & then reopened & refused to honor warranties on their shoddy work. Damage inside the house and when the ceiling in the dining room started to leak and come apart we called AJ's. They came out and Alex was Professional explained what was going on, checked for water damage and extent. We received quote and decided to go with them. Their crew was managed by Ivan and they worked hard. They pulled up layers of roof including the new and replaced wood underneath that had become wet, in doing so they found water coming from under tiles of the garage, they then pulled tiles and did the same and then replaced them. Took about 2 1/2 days. I think the only thing I suggest is more tarps to catch the garbage other than that they really work hard for you. They raised the roof slightly so the water will now flow to canalies. You can choose price or someone who will try their best to do a good job and that's really hard to find. What they did cost more than our whole first roof 4 years ago. So don't choose price when picking a roofing Company. Do as I did read reviews, check BBB and talk to them. When I realized I needed to reroof my house, at first I was totally daunted, not knowing how to find a reliable roofer. Eventually AJs was recommended by other roofers who were too busy to take the job. AJs came to my house, listened to my concerns, and gave a very competitive bid. I'm not sure how I found AJ's but I am so glad that I found them. They provided a very competitive bid for a new roof and gutters. We were on a tight time frame for our project and they managed to squeeze us in. On the day of the job they arrived early and literally had the roof installed in one day. They came back the next day to do the gutters and were finished by early afternoon. These guys are the real deal. Many contractors in Albuquerque do not show up when they say they will and don't always clean up after themselves. AJ's is unlike the others. They do it all and they are professional.
