Compared to others I've been to, Ajilon is very organized, and I feel confident that they are among the top temporary agencies. They have financial and office jobs. Everyone there is nice, and Katie is beyond amazing, and always answers my inquiries quickly. She found me my dream job after only a week, even if it was a 6-month temporary position. I had no idea I would like administrative work with the public, but I loved it. I would pay them to do that job. Now I know where I want to end up in life, and I don't think you can beat finding out what you want to do. A month after that job ended, she had two interviews for me, and then placed me in another good temporary position. I'm not sure how to review a temp agency, but I would definitely recommend it. Gail Strauss from Ajilon told me to fly to Portland (two days' notice) for a job. I did so at the cost of over $1,000 including hotel. Gail left me waiting at Ajilon, very unprofessional. Then came out and told me to go to my hotel, she was having a phone interview for me. A call never came in, Gail refused my calls and emails. Ajilon took no responsibility for their unprofessional conduct. Anyway, AJILON gets the WORST of the DECADE award. Beware job seekers. Not a good company with very bad karma. read more

I have never worked with a staffing agency before. Domonique Gratteri actually found my resume on Indeed. I was a little leery at first having never worked with an agency before. However, Domonique is wonderful she takes your skills and applies them to jobs that you might not have considered before. I contacted Ajilon in January 2020. They seem to communicate well with me and I was excited to work with them. In February 2020, Ajilon set up an interview for me for a HR Manager position with a trucking company in Portland. The 2 individuals I worked with at Ajilon (SW Market St, Portland, OR) were in constant contact and communicating with me during this interview process. We had great conversations and they seem to like me as a person and a candidate very much. I was offered and accepted the position. They were very excited for me. For placing me in this position, Ajilon was paid a large commission (15% of my $75,000 annual salary). On April 24, 2020 after 2 months with this company the owner of the company decided I was not the correct fit for the position and let me go. I was unhappy as well, but was trying to make it work. During my time there, my supervisor (The Controller for the company and the Payroll Manager) continually told me I was doing a great job, especially working during - through COVID-19. These two individuals were shocked when I was let go. During the last few weeks of my time their, I was communicating with my 2 contacts with Ajilon informing them that I was unhappy and the reasons why. They both seemed to understand and was very sympathetic to why I was unhappy and said that if this job did not work out, they would definitely work with me to find a better fit for me with another company. Since April 24, 2020 I have reached out by phone (left verbal and voice messages) and emailed many times to my contacts there along with applying for several HR positions on the Ajilon website and both my contacts have not or will not respond to me? I have even reached out to both of them through my LinkedIn account, but they have not responded. I am very confused by this. In one of my several voice messages to them, I asked/suggested they contact the employer and told them I would appreciate any feedback positive or negative that would help me in looking for other future HR opportunities. It is has now been over 3 months since I started reaching out to Ajilon and no one will respond to me. It's very confusing. For these reasons, I would DEFINITELY not recommend Ajilon if you are looking for work. After this experience it now seems to me they were only interested in me if for the money they made from originally placing me with the trucking company in Portland. Ajilon/Accounting Professionals suck. I was called in to their office with the promise of an interview for a well-paying job in accounting. I met a useless employee named Surya. Immediately after the interview with me, he forgot all about the interview he'd promised me before he'd met me. In other words, it was a fake job, used to increase Surya's pool of job candidates. That is a crappy way to treat people. I have a degree in accounting and experience working in accounting departments, yet this agency that deals only with accounting found absolutely no work or temp work for me. Why did I even bother to go in? I was used! Then I phoned Surya and enquired about several open jobs listed on the company's website. He told me those jobs were filled. I asked him why they were still on the website then, and he told me they remain for three months or something; what the hell sort of reason is THAT? I do not know which job-seekers actually get respect from Ajilon/Accounting Professionals, since I am perfectly qualified for accounting work. Amazing experience. I moved here last year from California to (hopefully) land a job at Nike I came here with no references, no networks, just me. I have a diploma in accounting from Portland State, so you would think that an agency that mostly works in the field of accounting might find some sort of work for me. No!! I had a thoroughly bad experience with Ajilon/Accounting Professionals. An employee in their downtown Portland office named Surya promised me an interview at a company for a well-paying job, but it turned out to be a lie, just to get me in the door. After he'd interviewed me, he promptly forgot about the promised interview, and he never got me any other interview, or temp work. I never heard from him again. I phoned him, to put my name forward, for some open jobs listed on Ajilon's website. I was told that all of the jobs I was interested in were now taken. So I asked him why they were still on Ajilon's website, and he answered that job ads were only taken off after six weeks!! Does that make any goddamn sense at all? He also told me that one job I wanted was in Eugene, but in the job ad, it said the job was in Portland. Do Ajilon/Accounting Professionals ever NOT lie? I would never use this Accounting Principals/Ajilon again. I was treated well day 1 in the office and was never treated that way again even though I made money for the firm. The biggest problem was that the amount quoted to me for the position was then significantly changed on my first day of work. This caught me completely unaware and as I had turned down other offers felt like I had no other choice but to begin work. The lady who brought me into the office passed the buck and blamed someone else in the firm for 'the mix up'. Accounting Principals/Ajilon did a full bait and switch which cost me significantly over the year long commitment. HR at my Nike assignment confirmed that I had been done wrong and contacted Accounting Principals to make this right and only then did this firm raise my per hour but not to the originally agreed upon number. I have paperwork supporting all my claims. This place is all about profits, not about people. Only when I completed my assignment did the money hungry staff reach out to 'see how you're doing'.
