I had set up to go in today at 3 p.m. to meet with Ivana. She had called me 2 days ago and set up the appointment to meet me face-to-face stating that she had a position that I might be great for. Unfortunately, I had a dental emergency and needed to move my appointment to tomorrow. I wasn't able to speak on the phone so I shot her an email around 2 p.m. asking if we could please reschedule for the following day. I'm attaching her response below I cannot believe the unprofessionalism she showed in this email. There are plenty of staffing agencies in Texas I suggest looking at one of them and avoiding this place at all costs. If this is the type of mentality they have for their staff I can only imagine the type of people they are hiring for. read more

I unfortunately cannot & will not ever recommend this agency to anyone I know. After suddenly getting laid off & hearing from Ajilon all the time & research they put into the companies they hire for, I was excited to start my journey to begin a new career. With Ajilon helping me on my already full-time job search, I felt confident in their commitment to stay in frequent contact with & help me find something I'd like, & in a new field. The process begins with an in-person "interview" so that they can gauge your first impressions. The gentleman I worked with assured me I had nothing to worry about with my interviewing & first impression skills. He said my main challenge would lie in the competitive job market here in Austin. When I left our interview, I was so hopeful & confident I'd soon land an interview with Ajilon's help. The man said he'd be in "frequent contact" with me & "don't be surprised" if I heard from him the next day. That was Tuesday - the week ended & I never heard back. Okay, he's busy. Not a huge deal. During our interview he'd asked me to email him with my most recent metrics supporting my resume to send along to potential companies for me to apply to. I emailed him the information as he asked that week & once again, I never heard back. Fast-forward a month &, out of the blue, I get a call from the same man who left me hanging after promising he'd be in "frequent contact" with me. He asks if I'd be interested in a sales position with XX company. I told him that like we discussed in my interview, sales & customer service are not something I'm interested in. He told me that this was more of an account management position & it could potentially turn into something else. I agreed for him to send them my resume, but never heard anything more. Fast-forward another month & I finally get a call from Ajilon requesting to schedule an interview with a company they think has a position for me. The woman at this company ended up being so rude, I wouldn't have accepted a job with them if they HAD extended an offer. After the phone screening with this company, I called the man from Ajilon back to let him know he could pull my name from that company's queue of candidates. He said he understood my reasons & that we'd "keep looking" & told me not to let it get me down. This was the last I ever heard from them. Luckily I landed a new job on my own. No thanks whatsoever to Ajilon. The main takeaway from my experience is if you're desperately looking for a job & need something quickly, don't rely on Ajilon to help you out. However if you're fortunate enough (I suppose) to have been laid off like I was & eligible for unemployment while looking for a new job, why not? It can't hurt to have another resource to help you out while you're job hunting full-time. Having said that though, don't expect Ajilon to get back to you or honor your wishes that you present from day one. Their "help" is free, but you could get the runaround like I did. The team is either being stretched too thin or they just can't get their stuff together. My pet peeve is when someone wastes my time & Ajilon did just that. Beware. read more

My personal experience with Ajilon was great. I initially just applied to a bunch of jobs one late night, the next day I got a call from Ivona to schedule an interview. I appreciated how honest she was, she told me things just how they were and that helped me have more realistic expectation about my job search. She also offered some great advice as far as my job search went, where to look, and she even helped me with resume! Interestingly enough, after I re-did my resume, I did notice I was getting more calls for interviews and initial phone screenings. I was working with some other staffing agencies, and I can honestly say Ajilon was the company that I felt "tried" to really find me a job that met my needs. Other agencies were really more concerned with just placing me somewhere for a job based on my work experience, rather than what I was looking for. I had a few interviews, and even did some temp work while I looked for jobs through Ajilon. I talked to Ivona almost on a daily basis, and we were always in constant communication about opportunities that were coming up and getting feedback from the interviews I had. I was also having interviews from companies that I had found and she worked around with my schedule. It felt like I was being helped and cared for in the job process, rather than just being "qualified" to fill their clients needs. Thanks to Ivona and Will I was able to find a great job! I can honestly say that I would recommend any friends in need of a job to Ajilon, and maybe even use them again in the future. read more

My boyfriend was actively seeking a job and I was looking for new opportunity when we both contacted Ajilon. He got a call back the next day and was scheduled for an interview. My boyfriend came home ecstatic. There was an amazing opportunity in the area that fit his experience exquisitely and apparently had many openings! After we got this news, William Bonnetti called us back a week later with news that they were not hiring after all. Fantastic. Despite this bad news, Mr. Bonnetti continued to blow even more smoke by saying there was one other job in the area he had in mind, although it paid less. Who would have thought-- they also were not hiring. My boyfriend said to him that although these jobs were great, he could also settle for a call center position. Bonnetti replied saying that Ajilon never places someone in a job that they would not take themselves. So when Bonnetti called him back saying there were open JANITORIAL positions that he knew about we both knew this agency was a dead end. And for me? He called me saying my resume was amazing and that he would call me back to let me know when a good time for an interview would be. This was a year ago. read more

I was trying to select zero, but it's not an option. Ajilon is owned by Adecco y'all. Adecco has a reputation for their checks magically disappearing, and Ajilon is no different. I've been waiting for a check for over three weeks, and the check I was supposed to have direct deposited this morning isn't there either. They pay when they feel like it, not on a schedule, have bad excuses about why they don't pay, if you get one. I left a job that I loved, because Ajilon is unable to pay their employees in a timely manner. If you appreciate being paid, on time, for the work that you've done, Ajilon isn't the company to temp thru. But if you like to be frustrated, talked in circles, and have to fight to get pain, then this is the place for you. read more

I have had nothing but a great experience with Ajilon. Ever since I graduated from college I have contacted them during my job hunts. There were a few times where I didn't here back from them after my initial meeting at their office, only because there was just nothing out there that suited my experience, which I really appreciated. This showed they weren't going to just throw me into any job out there, mainly because I don't want any job out there. I want to enjoy what I am doing and they seem to really understand that. I have a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Texas. Never in my life I have been treated with so much disrespect. I filled out all their job application forms. I had a couple of interviews over the phone. I drove out of town for an interview. The recruiters never got back to me. The receptionist hung up on me. I called back. She hung up on me again before I could say a word. The team is highly unprofessional. Total waste of time. A big thumb down for the way they treat people. read more

With 10yrs of operational experience and another 3+ as an executive assistant to a COO of a very successful business, I reached out to Ajilon to help in my job search. I was set up with WILLIAM BONETTI. First interview, he was an hour late to our scheduled time but I looked past that as I understood how busy staffing agencies could be so I gave him the benefit of the doubt...BOY was I wrong. I was informed how "easy it will be to get you working" and how "my experience and credentials" would make his job easy. He said everything I wanted to hear and got my hopes up thinking I may the perfect choice.....that was a BOLD FACE LIE. With any professional, if you want to find something, you need to stay proactive and persistent and thats exactly what I was. Any job posting I saw, any updates on opportunities that popped up...I was making sure to call and email WILLIAM BONETTI. The problem was...there was no communication on his side, there was no follow-ups, no callbacks, no "touching base" responses from him at all and when I did call it was always the same thing which was WILLIAM BONETTI telling to the secretary that he was on the phone or busy or not there and that he would callback.
