Run far away from this Doctor!!! This Doctor honestly should not even be practicing because his lack of knowledge is just unbelievable! Prescribes things other Doctor say they don't recommend I keep taking that the side effects out weigh the benefits and there's better choices. This doctor isn't even aware of infrared heat pads which blows my mind just from an overall common sense perspective. Has tried to even prescribe aspirin to me after telling him face to face I'm allergic not to mention it being in my medical records, this is dangerous and highly incompetent!!! I have such mixed feelings about this place. Pros -Very friendly, nice staff -Put me to sleep for my procedure -Procedure went well, no complications -Dr. Patel called later that day to check on me -Scheduled a follow up appointment 2 weeks later to make sure everything was healing well Cons -Dr. Patel doesn't seem very personable (very down to business) -Hardly saw Dr. Patel. He was in and out. I mostly dealt with his staff -They charged me an extra $1,000 (but they were apologetic and took care of it quickly) -Didn't really inform me about the healing process. They gave me a paper with very vague directions and I just googled things if I had questions. -They had to reschedule the time of the procedure 3 times, and reschedule the time of the follow up once Mixed feelings, but overall, not a bad experience. read more

This morning I had to have an extraction of a tooth that was badly broken and also had an infection. Dr. Patel got me in right away, and got my tooth removed quickly . Unlike all the other local oral surgeons who were booked for at least 60 days out. He was kind, and took care of me right away. I was put under and out of the office within an hour. My recovery after the fact has been very smooth. I'm Very grateful for Dr. Patel for his services. Even the front office lady was the absolute kindest. Will definitely recommend!! read more

First off this place is very unprofessional the lady in the front desk was really rude as well as manager I had an emergency and couldn't make my appointment so they decided to tell me me I had to pay $75 for not showing up even though I told them it was an emergency. And to top it off I was told I couldn't book an appointment any longer because I refused to pay the the 75 dollars they could of gave me a break stuff happens but instead we are no longer welcome there. Also they refused a family that took there daughter out of school as well because of no mask which I think they should provide if they don't have one so they don't lose business I will no longer go there they are so rude taking my daughter elsewhere read more

My husband was referred to Dr. Patel by his dentist. We are very pleased with the overall services. A week before his extractions we received a call to get our insurance information and tell us our expected co payment. My husband was given the option of being put to sleep or just numbing his mouth for the extractions. He went with the first option and was put to sleep. Before our appointment we received a call to confirm our appointment and give us information for day of procedure. When we arrived we were asked to fill out medical history paperwork which took less than 10 minutes. My husband was also given a pill to prepare him for his procedure. We spent less than an hour in a half in the office. I was asked to drive our car in the client pick up parking lot when my husband was ready to go home. Staff provided me with information for after care and assured me they were there if I had any questions. I definitely recomend this place for any oral procedures! Dr Patel has taken care of me for several years. Unfortunately, I have had dental problems that have needed extractions and implants. Dr Patel is very professional, and makes you feel like you're his only patient. After each procedure, he calls at home to make sure you're doing ok. I can honestly say that I've never had any more than minimal pain with Dr Patel. The ladies in his office are great! They are all friendly and help you relax when you're nervous. Both Dr Patel and his staff are ready to answer all questions. I've been very happy with the dental surgery and implants Dr Patel has performed and would recommend everyone give Dr Ajay Patel a call if any dental surgery is needed. read more

Don't know what the other reviewers are smoking, but Patel is AWFUL! And practice is deceptive (didn't know til AFTER the fact that he wasn't Dr. Hansen). Overcharged for services and cut up cheeks SO badly that had to have regular dentist make repairs. read more

First let me start by saying I am not a fan of dentist. I have had, until Dr. Patel, nothing but bad experiences with dentist in the past. But Dr. Patel has changed my ideas in one visit. A few years ago I had a root canal that was done improperly and as a result the cap and tooth broke so much I needed the tooth to be removed. This was the first time I needed to have a tooth removed and I choose Dr. Patel's office for no particular reason. When I arrived I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. After speaking with the nurse about the process I felt more at ease. The actual procedure only took 5 minutes and was painless. The worst part was the numbing injections, after that it was simple. After the procedure the nurse went over the steps I needed to take to have my gums properly heal. There was no pain the next day and I actually didn't even need to take the pain killers I was prescribed. Overall I feel Dr. Patel's office was very professional and the procedure was done so well there were no difficulties post procedure. The only thing more I could ask would be to have Dr. Patel as a general dentist also, not just an oral surgeon! read more

Having to have my wisdom teeth pulled was not something I was looking forward to. I had my consultation and Linda the front office person went over with me the cost, much more then I expected. But, it had to be done. Theresa the assistant, put me right at ease the day of my surgery. Even joked with me. Dr Patel went over again with me what I should expect and it was over and done in what I thought was a very short time. Everything was explained to me and my ride, which I don't remember much of and I went home. Later Dr Patel called to check on me. I was sore for a few days. Which is what he said. I tell everyone to go to Dr Patel cause he did not sugar coat anything, I knew ahead of time what to expect. Which for me was the best thing since I am a big coward. We were referred to Dr. Patel's office for two extractions and a consultation which we were told would cost 90.00 and whatever the cost of the extractions. We then went to the appointment and was told that no they were not doing the extractions as I was informed and they were simply consulting me on them. Dr. Patel was one of the worst mannered people I've ever met. He had a procedure in one room going on while making me wait in the adjacent room where I could hear everything going on in there. He then entered and seemed irritated and impatient with me as if I was wasting his time (all 5 minutes of it). Then wrote out a treatment plan or something (i was not shown) on a piece of ripped white printer paper. He then basically berated me and it was very uncomfortable to say the least. Then on my way out I was presented a bill of 250.00 for a consultation. I was floored because I was told it was 90.00 originally and they basically baited and switched me and didn't inform me until after the entire 5 minute consultation. They "did me a solid" according to the office manager and only wanted to charge me 200.00 which I could then apply towards my next procedures. i did not want to pay the 200 which was blatant fraud and false advertising but was basically forced to pay it. I called for days and days trying to get them to refund my 110.00 dollars that was wrongfully charged. I finally got a call back from an insanely rude office manager that told me it was too bad, I signed it and she wouldn't do a thing about. I told her I would contact my bank and chargeback the entire amount which would result in 35.00 more in fees they would have to eat plus the 200.00. She got incredibly rude and said you go right ahead and do whatever you think you can but you won't get any money back from us. Well too bad for them I just got off the phone with my bank and the bbb, both of which are now starting an investigation into their business practices..........i should have my entire 200 refunded within 7 days and they will be investigated by two entities. read more

Reading all the positive reviews from clients past experiences really makes me sad and upset that me and my family experienced the worst service today from Dr Patel's staff. We are very fortunate that Dr Patel was able to see my father in a emergency situation that same day or so we thought. We where shocked on how we where treated when we told his staff we did not have dental insurance. Unfortunately we don't have dental insurance, but we never said we dint have the means to pay. I understand that not having insurance they might need so much up front but my father being in the condition he was in and needed emergency treatment and we where told they needed all upfront that minute. We asked if they could give us an hour to go get the money and the receptionist kept repeating only cash or debit! We asked if they would be so heartless as to kick us out and she replied "it's out policy!" We rushed our father to the hospital while he is currently getting treatment for his tooth infection.
