The layers were not blended- the shortest layer was one blunt cut that didn't blend or flow with the rest of my hair... it looks like weird long bangs. It's truly awful, I cried. I can't do a single thing with my hair; everything honestly looks so terrible! I am truly disappointed and saddened. I went to another salon to get the layers fixed. It was literally so bad she immediately told me she couldn't fix it for another two months until my hair grew back, considering the length & texture of my hair. Terrible... I am so so upset- I had expected more considering the amazing reviews. The receptionist who washed my hair and got me ready was perfect. But after a couple gel pedicures, they chipped faster than normal. not sure if it's the product or not fully curing. idk. My real issue is two different times that I scheduled with his wife and she screwed up my appointment. I specifically asked to get a new full set of acrylic nails And when I showed up, she said he doesn't do them. And she didn't have time. ask me if I wanted a pedicure, which I already had a week before, that at the same place. More recently, I called the night before. And said, can I please come in tomorrow evening after 4:30 for a pedicure with Quang and she said, yes, tomorrow she told me 5 instead. I show up and again She screwed up my appointment. Quang apologized and said she isn't good with english. She did offer for herself to do it. But quite frankly, i really didn't care for her much i don't think she's that she is that friendly. If there's one thing I don't do is screw up my beauty appointments. Quang needs to be the one to make the appointments. The woman tried out maybe 6 or 7 different colors on me to get the exact match. She was super patient in getting me the right color and I really appreciated that. She filed down my acrylics and added the new color, all for $25!!! I was amazed at the price for such a meticulous job. She even drilled under my nails, which I've never had any salon ever do. My mom got a mani-pedi, and then got her eyebrows and upper lip waxed. She said the woman (same woman) did such a meticulous job, doing multiple passes to do it perfectly. We so appreciated how meticulous and thorough they were, and they have SO many colors. It's a shame we're only here to visit family, otherwise this would be our go-to salon.
