Worst experience I have ever had in that store. On a better note, the rest of the staff in the North Weymouth Michael's is awesome. So helpful and friendly. We stoped by as part of Gallery Night Providence and I had an opportunity to talk with the owners…read moreand shared that I come from a long line of artists and art lovers, in fact, my great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents have brought many of their items here over the years to be expertly matted and framed. I learned that this business had the distinction of being the oldest framing shop in the country dating back to the early 1900's and has remained a family run local business during this time. (Wow! That's impressive!) Initially based out of the Arcade in Downcity Providence, they moved to this location in the 1970's and have continued to expand over time. What you will find today are three massive floors filled with artwork, prints, drawings, ceramics, etc from great local artists in addition to their large framing area. They can handle all types of projects small or large and provide service and support both locally and out of state. They boast quality craftsmanship, lifetime guarantees on their work, and prices that are comparable to what you'd find from the big box chains that offer framing services (no coupon needed!) The difference is the years of knowledge and experience you get when choosing Providence Picture Frame as well as the good feeling you get knowing that you are helping a long time family run store stay in business for future generations. You'll also find friendly employees who care passionately about their business, their community, and helping the customer get exactly what they are looking for. Pro tips: Consider shopping in their gallery for unique and special birthday or holiday gifts. Not sure how to display that special photo, artwork, or sentimental item? Stop by to talk to them about their custom framing ideas and to preserve your one of a kind item for a lifetime.

I’ve also had the privilege to work with many talented General contractors, designers and realtors. Now THIS is how it's done. Surprised to be the first reviewer for these guys. Since I moved into my…read morehouse 6 years ago, replacing the entry door has been the looming project that never made it past the planning stages. This is partly due to the door being a 7' door which is an odd size, replacement options are limited and hard to find. The other factor is that, being a handy man, I needed someone who I felt was capable of doing the job better than me. It was also important that whoever I hired would put the care into the job that I would. I had several contractors scope the job and I either didn't get the impression they knew what they were doing or they were so far beyond my budget it was ridiculous There are a TON of crappy contractors out there, unfortunately I've hired many of them. Brewster Remodeling "nailed" it. Paul scoped out the job and I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and fair pricing, he's also a really nice and funny guy. We talked about framing down the raw opening so I could get a 6' 8" door and Paul was all over it, no problem at all. Over a few weeks of back and forth phone calls regarding part numbers for the doors etc, we got the doors ordered and set up a date for the install. They were here on-time, worked fast and were ridiculously clean throughout the entire install, I mean my steps and my foyer were cleaner than they've ever been. They finished up in a day and a half and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. They did a fantastic job and I'll certainly be hiring them again in the future. Brewster Remodeling is professional, clean, quick, smart, courteous and conscious of quality. As Paul said during the estimate "we keep the overhead low and the quality high". Nice work.

Great company with a quality product…read more We moved into our home in Medford in 2007. Our home has eighteen double hung windows and four large picture windows. During the first winter, we couldn't keep the house warm enough. Cold air was seeping into every room. Our heating cost was very high. So we decided to replace the windows before the next winter. A friend recommended AAA Royal Window. I called and spoke to John Boyd. He came to our home, made an evaluation and recommended that all windows be replaced and insulated. I was concerned about losing the wood tone windows to white vinyl clad windows, but John recommended double pane, tilt-in windows with wood tone application. They looked just like the real wood tone windows that we were replacing. He said they could do the entire job in one day. It sounded impossible, but we agreed and signed the contract. The AAA Royal crew arrived on the scheduled day at 7:00 a.m. They removed all of the old windows and storm windows, insulated the frames and installed the new windows. They removed all of the old windows and packaging and cleaned up both inside and outside. At the end of the day, you wouldn't even know that they had been here. I was so impressed. But it got better. During the next winter, and every winter since, our heating costs have dropped significantly. Every room stays warm. No more cold air creeping in. I have been so pleased. This year, five years after the windows were installed, my son broke the hardware on one of the tilt in windows. I called John Boyd and he offered to mail me the replacement parts and walk me through the simple repair. I was concerned that I would mess it up, so John came to our home in Medford and did the five minute repair job himself. It doesn't get much better than that. I have recommended AAA Royal to several friends over the last five years and I will continue to do so. They are a great company. Paul U Medford, MA
