Uptown Catering was very easy to work with. Our team was traveling to Houston. The selection of…read morefood was great for everyone. I was able to preorder and have everything delivered to our venue. Made for a wonderful experience. The food was fresh and plentiful. Thank you Uptown Catering!

I just catered breakfast for a family event with 20 people and spend $442 (including tip/delivery)…read more The food was mediocre and the portions were so small. I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was watery. ***The menu listed the items but didn't say only 1, 1oz piece of bacon per person - that's absolutely absurd for a normal breakfast portion. Who would cater one piece of bacon per person?

We stopped in for drinks and dessert and were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the…read moreservice was outstanding. We sat at the bar and our server, Shante, was fantastic. I asked for a drink recommendation and she gave me two great options. I chose the Tres Cucumber and it was amazing. Refreshing, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced with a clean cucumber flavor. My husband ordered the Old Fashioned, which was also very well done. We shared the fudge brownie for dessert and it was rich, moist, and elevated with just the right hint of espresso. The atmosphere is comfortable and versatile. It works just as well for a date night as it does for a girls night or a casual meet-up with a friend. 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend this spot and will absolutely be back.

We were lucky enough to get a table along the perimeter at the window so we had a nice view and could still have conversation. We ordered some flatbread for the table (variety of 3) and they were somewhat underwhelming, neither warm nor cold, and appeared to have just had items dropped on top of them. Having ordered them once (to go) from this location as well as in-house at the Town & Country location, where they were very good both times, somebody was just a little off their game today. We also ordered shakshuka, which was very good and wiped away the memory of the less than stellar flatbread. I would definitely return here again and try other things.

I found the restaurant on social media and was instantly excited about the menu offerings. I made a…read morereservation on the easy to use and convenient app. I arrived on time and was immediately pulled from the line and seated. I ordered the $20 bottomless mimosas, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fried Chicken, and because I'm indecisive and they were offered a la cart, I ordered a side of Catfish and a side of greens. My friend decided on the chicken and waffles. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time and piping hot. We did have to ask for our beverages and they were quickly brought out. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, bursting with flavor from the multiple ingredients. I asked for butter but ultimately didn't need it because they were delicious with just a hint of syrup because they were already sweet. They came with 4 chicken wings (flats) which I appreciated because I don't like when the chicken is strips. The chicken wings were seasoned and fried to perfection, as were the catfish strips. Just the right amount of batter and seasoning to be crunchy but still flaky and melt in your mouth delicious. The greens were to die for!!! Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I added a few dashes of hot sauce and they hit the spot. It reminded me of my childhood and I longed for some good cornbread to sop up the remaining pot liquor . But I digress lol. The restaurant was located in a convenient and easy to find location with plenty of parking. Clean tables and facility. I observed the staff washing their hands multiple times throughout the visit. Overall, everything was excellent and I'll definitely be returning to try other menu offerings. A few things to note: Definitely make a reservation. They do not split checks. It's one check for the entire table so figure it out and make it easy for them. Debit and credit cards only. They also offer Chef Curated Catering experiences and party and event rentals.

I came for Sunday brunch, I came back again to try their oysters and then came a third time with my cousin for their fried pork chops. Baybehh when I tell you everything that I've put in my mouth at this establishment has been phenomenal! For Sunday brunch, we ordered the catfish and grits, oxtails, Now while the food is amazing, I have to be honest the service is not up to par. I've been here three times in the span of a month and the service is extremely slow. They appear to be short staffed most of the times which can be frustrating for customers. I have personally talked to the owner about it and I know it's something that they are actively working on so I hope that things can turn around soon in that department becasue the food literally is that good!
