    French dip and jaegerschnitzel

Low key. Good food. Fast service and friendly bartenders. Mushroom gravy for the fries and Jaegerschnitzel was rich. A little heavy handed on the horse radish in the French dip but, 8oz beers to taste and healthy food portions...this place was worth the stop.

Good IPA's served at Airways Brewing!

Not a bad stop! I was at the Airways Bistro a couple years ago and thought that the beer there was just okay. Not quite my cup of tea so to speak but solid enough. I knew for sometime that Airways also had a taproom but didn't make a trip there until recently. Upon my visit to the taproom and not the bistro I actually liked their beer a bit better. I got their Test Pilot IPA which was pretty good. It had a good hoppiness too it and was just what I was looking for, The taproom is enjoyable as well and towards the back of the taproom there is a tip of a real airplane on the wall. Craziness! Anyway the taproom had a nice, mellow vibe to it and the beertender was very pleasant to deal with. Not a bad stop and one that I would consider doing a again at some point.

This place is easy to miss. At first I thought Google maps screwed me again. Found the place ok though. When I got in I felt like I was in the museum of flight somewhat, I liked it. The vice was chill, the beer selection wasn't so bad either. I got the pilsner i forgot the rest of the name of it lol. My friend actually told me to him here, i got there about an hour early so I was already 2 beers deep. I'd come back here to maybe kill time with the excruciating pain of traffic on i5 I have to go through every day.

Amazing food and brewery! Can't wait to try more! The colab 10 anniversary IPA is my favorite!

The beer is fantastic and they even have a couple of food items that look really good (didn't get a chance to try them). Small place with comfortable seeting. Stop by and get a growler filled and enjoy a couple of beers. So glad to see this in Kent! Oh, and they do have IBU and ABV listed on the menus with their beer.

Airways Brewery Brew tender. Trevor, Very cordial. Wanting to give the best service to the clients. He did a great job. Thanks Trevor Head Brewer Gibbs. Nice guy, knowledgable and proud of what is being produced. The brewery is nice and clean. The place is roomy and comfortable. I like the glasses they use for the flights. Ratings: 0-5 Jumbo Juice Northeastern Style IPA Their most popular. I like the Jumbo Juice; it's a easy-going, with a Citrus flavor. To me it tastes much like a Pomelo or grapefruit hard cider, with fizz. ****stars. Mosaic Hoppy Pilsner ABV 5.1. The Mosaic has a little bit of hoppiness but, has some flatness in there somehow, when you first taste. it's a little bit like a cream ale at first then after the second sip it gets better so, I give this one, between ***+1/2 Stars. Seventh Anniversary Oat IPA. ABV 5.0. This OAT IPA is a nice drink. It has a touch of bitterness which I like. I would drink it with a light meal or maybe hotdogs. All and all, it's quite refreshing *** stars. Jet City ESB. ABV 5.3 Really nice beer. Good Bitter; it reminds me of the English Bitters from London. Reluctantly (sarcasm there). I would have to give this ***** stars. Nitro Dry Irish Stout ABV 4.4 This is a great nitro I'm picking up coffee but there's no coffee. For an Irish stout this one needs to move to Ireland. It would be great competition for the domestic Irish Stouts. ***** stars The last was a gift taste by Gibbs the Head Brewer. I mention it because it is the beginning of an excellent IPA. He called it, The no name IPA. It has yet to be named. It is Similar to the JumboJuice but, I think it's going to have a little bit more body. I am looking forward to the finished product.

    Porter is on point!

This is my goto beer spot in Kent, I am a regular on Fridays well when my wife let's me ;) the atmosphere is super chill with plenty of seating and a cool vibe. The bar staff is super friendly and make sure you are drinking beer in a timely fashion. They have beer specials all the time. I am a big fan of their Scottish ale. Come and drink with me, first ones on me.

This is one of my favorite places to stop for a beer on my way home from work. Alex brews a great beer! Debbie and Mitch will always serve you with a smile. Come in a few times and they'll know you by name as well. The First Class IPA and Sky Hag Imperial IPA are my favorites. The Sky Hag will definitely erase the memories of your bad day. They also have an ESB, and a stout from the in house brewery, as well as a couple rotating guest taps. Ask for the "Dirty Hag"....about 1/3 stout and 2/3 Sky Hag IPA.....Yummy! Every Thursday, there is something special....usually on cask...sometimes on the Randall. Gets very busy around 5pm on Thursdays....don't worry...the 4pm crowd will be filtering out soon. No food....just snacks; peanuts $4! and small bags of chips for $1. You can order food to be delivered or bring in your own.

It's cool to see Logan Brewing opening up a taproom up in Kent. This is where Airways used to have…read moretheir taproom before they went out of business. So it's nice to see that the space is getting used again. On our latest visit to Logan Brewing we tried out quite a few different beers over the course of time from sit down taproom tastings and with what we took home for later drinking. I think Logan Brewing has improved their beer quality compared to when they first opened which is good to see. Some of the beers we had were creative and fun and that is what Steve and I are always out on the look for. Beers that are atypical and fun to drink. The first one I will start on is the beer called Man with the Golden Gourd which I believe is referencing from a James Bond film with their own spin on the beer type. This is Golden Stout which is a kind of stout you don't see very often and so whenever I come across one I try to never pass it up. Flavor highlights with this beer are pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon. The beer is sweet and has a dry finish. But it's all very well rounded and makes it nice and drinkable. But it is a stout still so it's a sipping kind of beer. Another beer we got was the Now You're Thinking With Porters. This was an English Porter that had a roasty, malty and smoked flavors. It was a nice kind of beer to have in the colder months. The beer is soft and smooth and makes a pleasant mouthfeel. Moving on to another kind of beer we got a fruit beer called Cactus Juice. This was a fun, light bodied beer that had flavor highlights of guava, fruity, watermelon and a light "candy" sort of flavor. Some fruit beers are heavily sweet but this was well balanced as many of Logan's beers are. I love lagers and Helles lagers is one of my favorite lager types. So this was the first beer I jumped into here at the taproom. The name of this beer was the Portal to Helles. This is a nice, light bodied beer which I strive to get more and more as time marches on. Flavor highlights with this beer are smoky, crisp and clean in flavor. Again, nicely subtle and none of it being heavy handed in flavor. Some other beers that we liked and enjoyed at home was the Slammu Pilsner and the Thyra Sterling which also was a lager... just a different type than the Helles. Once again a very solid beer experience and a very solid first visit to the Kent location of Logan Brewing Company!

This location is a large, open space where you can easily see how the magic happens. Employees are all friendly and really make for a great environment. There are a bunch of taps available with rotating products depending on the season. If you like craft beer, they are worth stopping by!

Karla came over right away and helped us with the kindest attitude. When we asked how to add sauces, she said, "They're free, just let me know which ones you want," and brought us two of each to try. It's so refreshing to visit a place that doesn't nickel and dime you. After placing our order, I realized I forgot to get a patty for our dog. Karla came by to check on us, and when I told her, she said she would make sure it came out with our food. It actually came out a few minutes before, which was perfect so our dog could eat first. That level of care really stood out. As for the food, everything was delicious. The loaded fries were savory and rich with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the truffle fries with greens were a nice balance. The orange juice was honestly one of the best I've had. It was fresh, tangy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming. There are games at every table, and it's both dog friendly and family friendly. We'll definitely be back. Karla, thank you for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
