The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

I called Kirkland around 7PM and spoke with their Tech Matthew who offered to come right over. I declined because it was raining heavily and I could wait until the next morning for a repair. Matthew stated on the phone it was probably the capacitor and he would be over at 8AM the next day. He arrived on time and replaced the damaged capacitor bringing the AC back to working. Matthew was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly and the pricing for the repair I felt was very reasonable. I have dealt with 2 other HVAC companies in the past and because of their performances, I did not call them again. I wish I could give Kirkland 6 stars instead of the max 5 allowed. So, I called & set up my services. The two guys that came out were professional and did a great job cleaning the ducts as well as the dryer vent. They stated that everything was back in place, turned the lights off in the attic & closed the door. They provided before and after photos of the inside of the vents. I was happy with the work. Stupidly, I didn't think to go in to the attic to double check. I even referred some of my neighbors to ZeroRez. That was until I recently had an issue with my a/c which prompted me to go in to the attic with All HVAC Services owner. When we went in to the attic, we found some of the ductwork laying on the floor & the webbing that had previously held the ductwork in place was cut & laying on the insulation in my attic. Needless to say, I was pretty upset. The owner of All HVAC Services told me to contact ZeroRez to let them know, so I called. That was almost two weeks ago & still haven't received a call back from a manager. All HVAC Services owner was apologetic since he referred me to ZeroRez. The owner fixed the duct work and added it to the other items I had to have fixed. In the end I'll say, the initial cleaning was great. Neither I, nor the HVAC team could figure out why ZeroRez cut the webbing from the duct work as this was not necessary and ended up costing me more money. They could have at the very least notified me that they had to cut it for whatever reason, but failed to say anything. I could have had it fixed right away if I had known. ZeroRez customer service, when it comes to issues/complaints is not good. I expected more given the way the company initially started its service with me. I'm very disappointed in the overall outcome and tbh, not sure I'll recommend them to anyone else.

They explained the process and answered any questions. Then they proceeded through the house, connecting the large vacuum hose via the furnace and using a compressed air hose to blow off the dirt and dust for removal. The final phase was the additional dryer vent clean-out. This was complicated slightly due to the piping layout in our walls, but they managed it. I thought the pricing was in line with other companies. They had positive reviews online, and from our experience we would hire them again.

Their tech basically told me to ditch my furnaces and ACs because they are old. That's no reason to ditch anything. I had him recharge them to the tune of $77/lb of refigeratent. that set me back 4 or 500 bucks. Lost more a month later, called Coolray, and they told me likely my coils were bad. Not merely fishing for sales, they quoted me $1800/unit on the coils and that since we were near end of season, recommended I might find an independent HVAC guy to install them a little cheaper in the off season. I have always liked Coolray because of their customer service and honesty. I get a referral for Randy Holt and AC Squad from a great friend at work. He and his son (who I later learned started his career with Coolray. Besides being genuinely nice like his dad, this did not surprise me) spent 1.5 to 2 hours trying to diagnose the problem, including a leak test that's been quoted by other outfits (Coolray, Estes, Total Aircare) at like $130-150. They did not even charge me. Randy told me the same diagnosis as what Coolray had suspected. Since it was end of season, I wait until Spring. I have Randy install the coils in May, but there was still a concern that if I ran out again, the problem would be my compressors. Well, I continued to loose refrigerant. I had to make a choice. Before I'm scheduled, Randy has come out twice to charge up my units (his price is $66/lb refrigerant) to ensure I am comfortable. Neither time he charged me. I'm going to say it again, he never charged me those two times for refrigerant. That stuff is not cheap! Today he installed my two new Amana compressors at a reasonable price. Randy and AC Squad are professional, courteous, prompt, honest, thorough, efficient, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

The original contractor that installed our Air Handler were atrocious. The unit was not installed right, building codes were violated, parts were not replaced, vents were restricted, and the emergency heat didn't work, fuses were blowing on a weekly basis. After 2 other companies failed to come fix our unit, our warranty company assigned Anglin air to come out. I got my first phone call the same day they were assigned to the case. The dispatcher, Judy, did an A1 job throughout the entire process. From scheduling, to updates, to detailing what needed to be done, I was informed the whole way through. Not to mention, I was in Utah for 4 days and these guys did the ENTIRE job before I got home. I trusted them to get in and out, sight unseen to me, and just relying on my home security system to make sure there was no funny business. Came home on the fourth day and went to our attic to inspect the work. They did a compete makeover. Changing supports, adding new duct work, replacing the duct tape I had to use to keep the thing in one piece with actual concrete plaster-like material. Turned on the air and swoosh all systems are on full blast. I even noticed some insulation reinforcement on our freon lines which were not there before. I'm no HVAC expert but I seriously wish I had these guys the first time around. This ordeal was a complete nightmare until Anglin sent their troops in. I have pictures of their work which I am adding: I'm all about "The proof is in the pudding" well...pictures, not pudding (yum) so check it out. They earned this 5 star review hand over hand.
