PRECISION PLUMBING - James Goes To Bat for His Customers…read more OK, so after a couple of plumbing projects at our house, we can accurately opine on James, of Precision Plumbing. James does what he says he'll do! After seeing him do a fine job installing a trouble-free reverse osmosis project for us, he was the natural choice when the old water heater finally heaved its last. James replaced the expired heater with a shiny new one, and that's when the trouble began. Strangely, the shiny new water heater persisted in cutting off every 24-48 hours. James came out and made whatever adjustments to the electronics and burners that he could, but the problem persisted. James ordered replacement electronics. No change. He ordered a replacement burner. No change. James persisted with the manufacturer, and they responded with yet newer electronics and burner unit. No change. James never gave up. He finally did a variety of airflow measurements and determined that the shiny new heater required lots more airflow than did the old unit, and once he installed a new air duct into the attic, the burner finally got the air it needed. James never quit troubleshooting. Rheem never quit helping. Problem finally solved. Precision Plumbing should be called Persistent Plumbing. You'll be in good hands with James. Dean Herrington

I called my sister, who has several properties in town and has a list of the trades who've done good work. She gave me the number for Crystal Clear Plumbing. I gave them a call Saturday night and he said he'd have someone out at 8am Sunday morning. The truck showed up on time with two workers. One of them gave his condolences since he had heard my brother-in-law had suddenly passed away 2 months ago. He took a look at my water heater, said they could still use some of the old metal lines and straps, saved me money. Installation was fast and they left the garage cleaner than when they arrived. Forty-five minutes later I had hot water again. They wrote the date of the installation on the heater which was a nice touch. They made everything quick and painless.

We called and they said they could get someone out quickly. Another hour goes by and we called them again to see where they were. We were told 10 minutes away. 5 rolls around and Jason shows up. His excuse was that they were waiting for our property management to call them back but their office called my wife and I individually to make the appointment. The fact we were on the schedule, which they confirmed every time we called, and we didn't hear from their technician is very disappointing. Having to wait an additional 2 hours behind what was promised is not okay. It would have been okay if the technician had called us to let us know he would be late.

I contacted Choice home, #Warranty who I would never ever ever under any circumstance recommend to anyone. They eventually finally sent someone. That someone turned out to be Danny from Payless. He is a really nice guy and was really patient considering the #Warranty company was screwing him around just to do a recharge on the air conditioner. He ended up giving them a really good price in order to get things finished up. But even in general, his price would've been very fair. He knows his stuff and he's very interested in making sure the customer is happy I'm going to have him come back separately to do soft starts on my air conditioners and have decided that he is now my go to Guide for anything HVAC related.
