I called another company who tried to clear them and indicated it was impossible and that they would need to pull up hardscaping and replace the lines and quoted a 5-figure sum to do the work. I decided to get a second opinion and called Kevin at Kalka Plumbing. Kevin was incredibly honest and upfront from the start. He indicated that he should be able to clear the lines, but there may be sections that might have to be replaced but would do his best to at least clear the lines in the hardscaped areas. Kevin and his team were able to clear everything and did an excellent job cleaning up and leaving my back and front yard pristine (cleaner than when they started). Instead of pushing for the most expensive or invasive 'standard' fix, they saved me a significant amount of money and the results were exceptional. It is so rare to find a trade professional with this level of integrity and problem-solving skills. He recommended to replace a motherboard since it was "fried" on the outside AC unit. Scheduling the next appointment was a nightmare. We had something in the books so my wife was at home waiting the entire day for the guy to show up but never arrived. No text.. no call..nothing. I had to personally call the company and let them know they never arrived, they apologized and scheduled me for the following week. He arrived with the part and installed it and the unit was still failing... he didn't know what was going on so they brought out the senior technician to take a look and the bigger issue lied within the furnace in my attic which was going to cost a few grand to fix. I agreed to get this fixed and was notified the part would arrive in about 3 months or so. So here I am in February excited to get some heating and air conditioning back in our home. I call the office and it turns out they never ordered the part...... I'm flabbergasted at this point because not only did they not order the part but they quoted me a few grand higher than the original estimate. I've wasted my time and money here. I found out that the manger was the one performing the first $647 service He was rude and dismissive. I will no longer deal with this company again. Update. Trabuco air was sold to the current owner...maybe that is why their service and employees are not as good.

And then, he will order it for me but it wasn't a brand name and I have to give him cash ahead of time. (Fraud) He added, "the Company doesn't know this secret deal. They will not support this and fire me. So, No warranty." I refused to give him several thousands of dollars somebody who acted like a fired employee because of this deal. I asked for Refund of $800 for the Refrigerant that got all leaked out under Refrigerant Warranty. He denied and pushed me into the Unwarranted non-brand name condenser that his company doesn't back up. I took him to a court, he lied to the judge, "I have HOME WARRANTY insurance. They could cover the damaged condenser." He only had BOND and they wrote, "We are not home warranty insurance." He damaged my AMANA condenser and did not Honor his "Refrigerant Warranty for 5 yrs." - He lives in a hundred-million dollar mansion. -
