I am really pleased with AirGanic. After getting estimates of 1 to 4 weeks from other companies of when someone could come clean my blocked dryer vent, co-owner Dustin Fox (just coming off paternity leave) was able to come over the SAME DAY. He and his assistant Isaac were super. Once they located and cleaned the vent, it still wasn't getting much airflow. Dustin has a lot of experience and suspected that the vent wasn't connected properly. He went into the crawl space and found lint all over the place. The duct had been duct-taped by someone previously, fallen apart and was only partially connected, and mostly blowing lint all over the crawlspace. He took pictures and came out and gave me his report and estimate. I had him go ahead and fix it properly. He also cleaned up the giant mess in the crawlspace. They were then able to clean out the duct to the outside properly and restore the flow. They were super nice, professional and friendly. They were careful about taking off their shoes inside the house without being asked. They also vacuumed up the huge amount of lint which blew out of the vent into my outside garden. Dustin also looked at my heater duct inside and showed me a picture of the findings. He did the OPPOSITE of a hard sell. He gave me a price for cleaning the ducts, but said they didn't look that bad and it was no emergency. Dustin shared with me that he and his partner Gal have recently started this business after they became disenchanted with the improper business conduct of their prior employer. Gal seemed to understand furnaces real well so I just asked him to do some maintenance on that, also. One of their techs came out to perform routine maintenance. I was beyond happy with the service because they were patient and stayed behind to answer all the questions my husband and I had about our system in general. They even walked us through to show us where we had a problem that would need to be fixed within the year, without pressured sales. We felt informed after our visit and learned a few things. Gal did a great job cleaning our ducts and furnace. He replaced a very nasty filter with one we can clean every year rather than replace. He patched a spot in our duct work that had come undone and it's like we have a new heating system now. Previously, all of our heat was blasting down into our basement! Finally, they came and did an awesome job, putting on three layers instead of just two. We just had our ducts cleaned by another group with 5 star/200+ reviews on yelp just over a year after a previous cleaning with Airganic. We moved in to a 1922 renovation that was completely gutted ie. lath and plaster, lead paint everywhere. The ducts today were full of construction debris apparently and no construction has gone on since the last cleaning. I'm no expert in this department but felt the need to share. read more

Gal, Cameron and the crew removed old insulation from our attic and crawl space, cleaned them, changed our heat ducts and installed new insulation. It was quite a bit of work and they did an excellent job. We had a lot of problems with other contractors, and they had to come and go several times but they never complained - on the contrary, they tried to make everything work by communicating with other people. In a very stressful remodeling project, they were very easy to work with. We are glad we hired them! They were all very friendly and communicative during the whole process. Please use Airganic! Gal responded to my issue almost immediately and was super helpful. We initially had our air ducts cleaned/looked at by another company that quoted us $2k-2.5k for replacement of our entire duct system since there were holes found in just a couple. We had Airganic come out to provide a second opinion. Turned out that we only needed to replace the couple ducts that needed repair, they explained why we had an odor coming through our vents, did a thorough cleansing, noted that we had standing water in our crawl space that we need to address w/ a crawl space professional...and they charged us half the cost! Dan from Airganic came out this morning to service ducts, check furnace, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better heating/ac guy than him. Seriously, he was extremely honest, helpful and went above and beyond. Oh, and he didn't charge me what most companies would have. Fair pricing, honest guy, great reputation. He even gave me a tip that we could do ourselves if we wanted to save some money (a clamp for our dryer hose). Who does that? Not very many companies, and especially not heating/ac companies. But Airganic does. I recommend you check them out for a great deal from a great company. Set up an estimate appointment for 9am. Gal, the owner showed up a few minutes late & told me that he could not do an estimate for attic insulation without his crew, who wouldn't be available until 1pm. I said ok. At 1:45 I called their office & they had no information about the 1pm appointment but assured me they would be out within an hour... 2 hours later I called & left a message that I could not hang around waiting any longer... this was almost 7 hours after my initial appointment time! Two days later I decided to give them another chance, made an appointment for the next Monday (the office manager assured me they would be able to do the entire estimate). Monday came and Airganics no called/no showed... Two chances, two failures, very unprofessional... would NOT recommend Airganics. read more

Cameron and the Airganic crew performed a furnace maintenance and cleaned our air ducts. They were efficient and focused on their jobs, but really courteous and friendly. Our kids were of course fascinated with everything they were doing, but the AirGanic guys were great with them and let them tag along. I was impressed that when some furnace components were found that needed replacement, Cameron actually recommended not spending the money since the furnace was near its end of life anyway. Extremely professional. I was looking for bids to replace my crawl space barrier and insulation after a rodent infestation. Gal (pronounced Gaul) the owner went through my crawl space and explained his findings and other issues that the exterminator's failed to find or resolve. His quote was about the same as other companies, but he offered more service at no extra cost, like "whole house duct cleaning and furnace tune up". Dustin (co-owner) came in with a two man work crew. I explained to Dustin my concerns for the possible Hantavirus (we have a granddaughter). Dustin explained how, where and why they will totally encapsulate the work area from floor to ceiling to prevent any spread of the virus. Their cleanup procedures, once work was completed, was thorough and efficient. The crew worked long and hard not stopping to eat lunch. From time to time Dustin would show me images of issues he had found. One was the rats had eaten into one of the heating ducts and another was a duct had fallen off. The duct replacement was an added expense, but it will also reduce my heating bill. With the work completed Dustin show me the finished results (photos). New barrier and insulation. Spraying foam with chicken wire at all known and possible entry points into the crawl space from both outside and in the garage. Reattachment of my old fallen duct, at no charge. Installation of the new duct. Sanitized and deodorization for the rat feces and urine. I believe Airganic has given me the best bang for my dollar and would whole heartedly recommend them to friends and family. read more

It's hard to find quality "old fashion" service these days that serves a modern world. Gal and Isaac slushed out in the snowy conditions to Monroe to provide service on our rental house that had very dirty vents. They were extremely careful to not leave any mess and the vents are spotless. I told Gal my concerns about other companies that upsell, and he promised me he was only providing the services I signed up for, but was also sure to provide some recommendations which none were anything of high costs (i.e. replace the furnace filter after I just had the entire house painted as it collected "construction dust"). I was referred to Gal by a friend, and the service was about as straightforward and easy as possible. Scheduling was quick, Gal showed up on time (which usually isn't the case for contractors), and the work got done.
