Kayla has listened to me & created a completely different exercise program than the last therapist. She even adjusted it when I fell and hurt my knee and arm. Strive is a large organization and I can't speak for their other offices, but the Washington Square location is the best PT office I've ever been to. And shout out to the receptionist, Sammy, who is always kind and patient on the phone and great to talk to in the office.

Dr. Jones is a phenomenal doctor. I have seen dozens of mental health providers over the decades,…read moreand she is caring, thorough, and extremely sharp. There is absolutely no pushing you out the door or 15 minute appointments. The only problem is that is hard to schedule her. You have to call an outside service and they will play phone tag with you forever. But the actual doc is really good at practicing psychiatry, which is rare in this world. She listens to your input about what you think will and won't work, and seriously considers what you have to say. She is not at all judgemental, and she has zero god complex. You almost never find this kind of gem in the field of psychiatry. When they are out there-- they don't take insurance, and charge 800 bucks an hour because they know they're worth it. Dr. Jones is a doctor of the people, and takes insurance with reasonable prices. She seems to actually care about helping all people, and I really like her. But her scheduling staff needs work...

I'm so thrilled to finally find a therapist that works for me through this practice! I have…read morespecifically worked with Dr. Gratson for almost a year and I've been so happy with my experience. I've been pleased by the breadth of experience my therapist has and impressed by her continued commitment to learning and professional development. She is knowledgeable about topics that I did not specifically request and it has proved extraordinarily valuable to my therapeutic journey. In addition, i find her communication is clear, technology has worked well (I prefer virtual appointments) and she balances listening and providing input in a way that I really appreciate. I'll be honest, she was recommended to me by someone at the practice who knows me, and I was a little wary. Coming off the heals of two prior therapists, one of whom I'd worked with for almost 5 years, I didn't think therapy would be for me anymore. It didn't feel useful. It turns out that it was about the therapist herself and not therapy.

Excellent therapists, you can tell they really care about their clients. Highly recommend!read more

I bought a Groupon to give it ago and made an appointment really not knowing what to expect. Franchesca was so easy to talk to about things my doctors normally glaze over about and took my concerns seriously. We talked about my overall health and a condition I have and it was so easy even though I often get nervous and embarrassed to talk about it. She explained what treatment was like and that it is community acupuncture so there were two other people receiving treatment in the room. I barely felt any of the needles go in and was covered with a lightweight blanket and left to relax. I watched my thoughts swirl around and then fell into the deepest sleep you can imagine. I woke up feeling refreshed and even noticed a little spring in my step the next morning that had been missing for a while. I am definitely going to build this friendly studio into my wellness and you have a new patient!!!! Highly recommended, especially for the new-to-acupuncture.

I chose Ivy rehab because I could walk to it (poorly) from my home…read more I called for an appointment and they helped me walk through getting a current script from my doctor. I really hate paper work. I walked in for my first appointment. The energy in there is so welcoming. Vi, at the front desk makes it all work. And she makes coffee for anyone who wants one. My first therapist was Michael. He was only subbing for another therapist, but now he is full time and he is great. I see a variety of the other therapist and they are all wonderful. So now, having had my coffee, I began my physical therapy. Love the therapists. They explain what you are going to do, why you are doing it, and model the exercise. They will say, "next we are going to do" but they really mean you are doing them. We are all in different modes of exercise. We are all in various stages of treatment, and yet everyone is comfortable working there. One word of caution, once you let them know a particular exercise has gotten easy, they ramp it up. But it is for your own good., or so they tell me. A result I did not expect is how much better I feel all over, physically and mentally. My friend told me it is the endorphins that are released during your exercises. And it is true. I actually look forward to going to Ivy rehab. Gina
