Please do not go here. Attempting to fit mental health care into a busy life is extremely difficult. A family member went here for months and, given extreme life circumstances well out of the ordinary, was unable to attend one session. She called and explained the situation, but since the situation arrived less than 24 hours before her scheduled appointment, she was still forced to pay her normal copay amount plus the amount insurance would typically reimburse all out of pocket. Life happens, and given that this was not a normal issue for her (no prior no shows during her care) and she called and told them her issue ahead of the appointment, it is completely unacceptable how they handle this. Attempting to better your mental health is a difficult task and the organization that offers that help should not be adding to your burden. This place cares much more about their bottom line than it does about helping its patients. Edit: They can give whatever reason they'd like to excuse their policy ("help as many people as possible"), but it is still a poor policy with no room for leniency or individual discretion. Instead of the company absorbing the cost of a missed appointment due to a true emergency, they choose to hold the individual, who is already seeking mental health care and currently undergoing an emergent stressful life event, personally/financially responsible. The policy itself, not the customer awareness, is what seems very flawed to me and I hope they consider making a change. read more

I had a very positive experience here from the minute I called to get set up with the appointment. Very professional and supportive.

Ive been trying to get in to see someone for months now with no luck. The intake procedure definitely needs work especially in this field it would be nice to be able to chat with someone and ask questions and not just be directed to an intake email. It would also be better practice given that patients might be in crises or urgently need to see someone that they refer the patient to another service if they are so terribly overbooked. Other than that the practice looks neat and professional and there are really nice bio's of all the practitioners who have a range of expertise and qualifications. read more

I went here for neuropsychological testing which was administered and evaluated by Alexandra Charchut. I was misdiagnosed and my suffering was therefore prolonged. They utilize archaic testing methods that they do not even understand. Just one of the many people who have let me down over the years. read more

I am blown away by the expertise and insight of Hilary Katz, one of the therapists at this practice (note: I have not had experience with others in the practice, but have heard amazing things). I have two children-a nine year old son with autism, and a 6 year old daughter who is neuro-typical. Hilary is magical in her interaction with both children, and the advice she gives me as their parent has been top notch. She is professional, competent, and very nurturing. She also works well with others in her field, and is always knowledgeable about where to go if a child needs evaluations by other professionals in related fields. Hilary has amazing relationships with teachers, doctors and therapists in the Philadelphia area. She has been a blessing to many children and their families. I cannot recommend Hilary Katz highly enough. read more

I was set up with a therapist here as a emergency last resort. I had to take whatever was available. Initially I was not too keen on the gender selected for me, but I proceeded trying not to be judgemental about it. I enjoyed how the therapist was able to work with me in terms of availability, but the therapist made a mistake with my insurance and I had to pay extra each visit just to work off the amount I owed from their mistake. Also, I got ill and was not told if I did not notify more than 24 hours ahead of time I had to pay a fee of 80 dollars because they would need time to find a replacement. I am pretty sure you would not want patients throwing up with diarrhea on their visits? As much as I did enjoy the demeanor of my therapist he/she kind of sucked. I mean who keeps dozing off while I am talking to them? How is that professional? Why in the world is this person a therapist? I guess now I know why I this person had availability. I am grateful for their listening ear, but come on! Wish I could get some of my money back. read more
