I had never been to PT before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Naomi was great at making me feel comfortable, educating me and motivating me to try new things. I was even able to include my husband and baby on a session. Atlantic Physical Therapy has helped me cruise through postpartum and improved my pain drastically. I was surprised each week at the progress I was making and how far I had come. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Physical Therapy for expectant and postpartum mothers.

It ended up being my best childbirth experience and easiest recovery. I continued to see Naomi once postpartum to help rebuild my core and manage diastasis recti/back discomfort. I am so grateful for her expertise, ability to make me feel comfortable, and sense of humor. Because of Naomi, I was able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy with minimal discomfort, feel prepared for childbirth, and feel strong again postpartum. I will be forever grateful! The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. I cant say enough good things about Atlantic PT!

If it weren't for Lexie I still would be sleeping in my recliner on my 1st floor. Wally showed me how much my knees could bend and help me get on the bike and turned those pedals until they start squeaking for additional oil. Caretta makes appts and insurance go smooth and in todays world that is a skill and show determination. I would not be where I am today 5 1/2 months post surgery. I will sincerely miss each one of these great humans

Knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, whatever, Chad is your man!…read more The first time I walked home from Chad's office I started crying because I no longer had any pain in my knee when I walked. Sure this was only temporary to start, but after a few sessions I had lasting pain relief and a better understanding of the mechanism and cause for my pain. Chad is really able to get to the source of the pain. For instance, my knee pain was really being caused by tightness in my hips, which could be relieved significantly with some well placed acupuncture needles. I have been recommending Chad to friends and family since my first visit and will never stop!

I was referred to Chad by one of his students after describing my chronic neck, shoulder and hip…read moreissues (severe spinal stenosis C3-C4, IT band, repaired labral tear). I had never tried acupuncture before, though I had been warily contemplating it after my ortho doc mentioned it for the third or fourth time when we seemed to have exhausted traditional treatment options (3 months of physical therapy, 2 cortisone shots, an epidural, and arthroscopic surgery). My skepticism had run out of excuses, so, why not try acupuncture. I was contemplating trying the local low-cost community clinic when a friend of a friend emphatically insisted that I go see Chad, at least for a consultation. Reason being that my needs were orthopedic in nature, and while I might benefit somewhat from a general treatment, Chad's specialty in sports acupuncture was a perfect fit. So I made my first appointment. Fast forward three months. I am a believer. Acupuncture is now a regular part of my healthcare regimen--undoubtedly the most effective. I can't say I love the part where the pins go in. I'm twitchy by nature. I am, however, put completely at ease by Chad's casual but confident bedside manner. I ask a lot of questions and he's quick to oblige, freely communicating what he's doing and why. If only all healthcare providers operated with half as much respect and transparency. As for results--when I walk out of the office I feel immediate partial relief from stiffness and pain. This is followed by further relief of pain and increased mobility days following the treatment. My hip feels more stable and only requires Chad's attention after overuse. My neck/shoulder will require more maintenance because the root cause is a bone structure thing, aggravated by repetitive use at the computer (I'm a graphic designer), which Chad openly communicated from the get-go. I will continue to see Chad regularly to take care of my chronic issues and prevent further injury.
