I found Travis on Yelp and saw he works in Kelseyville. He made the trip all the way from Lincoln just to take a look, which I appreciated right off the bat. Right away, he spotted a leak in the system. He gave me the option to just patch that one area and refill it, but he also explained that it shouldn't have been leaking at that connection in the first place. He recommended checking the entire setup. I gave him the go-ahead. Turned out, there were a bunch of bad flares and none of the lines had been reamed, so there were burrs inside. Travis pulled all the faulty fittings and even handed them to me in a Ziploc bag. The repair wasn't cheap, but that was because of how badly the original install had been done. Travis had to undo a lot of sloppy work just to bring the system up to standard. His pricing was fair for the amount of rework needed, and the quality of the job was excellent. I thought I was being smart trying to save money on the original install, but I should've gone with Travis from the beginning. The system I thought was top-of-the-line turned out to be just okay. Lesson learned. Travis genuinely cares, and it shows. In a time when so many HVAC companies are getting bought out by venture capital firms, it's refreshing to work with a small, well-run business that still values quality. On top of that, Travis is a friendly, down-to-earth guy who's clearly winning in life.

It was discovered that the last repair person accidentally incorrectly wired a previous failed capacitor and caused damage. Last summer I installed a 36000 BTU mini split system with 3 ductless head units and in a rush to cool my house in the heat of the summer I ended doing a sloppy job and making a lot of mistakes. I wanted to have a reputable company come out and recharge my system and check on my mistakes and that's when I contacted At your service. When Bryan came out he saw all the hazards from my sloppy install and seemed much more concerned with fixing them for the safety of my home and family rather then finding problems that he could charge me to fix. I'm sure Nick would have come out to discover the error and not charged me, but I noticed one wire wasn't connected and Nick confirmed over text and the phone this was the issue. We finally called J & J who was recommended by our community Facebook page. Their response was top notch and service was excellent. My husband called in the morning before 8am and they called back saying a technician would be out in 30 mins!! Even when the technician was running late, we received a call about the status and when he arrived he fixed the problem within 10 - 15 mins when the other stupid service provider said something else was broken and needed a part ordered.
