The tech that showed was really nice but I think he lacked the knowledge to fix this unit. It took 45 min for him to find that I had a short in the wires. He assumed that the wires connected to the controllers and he spent another 30 to 40 min checking all 4 of them. He finally gave up and said he couldn't find the short and that all he was doing was running up my bill at this point so he on hooked the wires and left without fixing anything. Later I went up to the bath and pushed the controller and it came on. I thought that it was strange that this could work with it being on hooked so I decided to follow the on hooked wires and I found the short 3 feet away from the unit pitched between the furnace duct and a floor beam. I then called the tech to let him know that I found the problem and that the wires ran to the furnace and not the controllers, he sounded surprised and then asked why would the unit be wired to the furnace. Yet they still sent me a bill for $135 for 1 1/2 hours of work when all he had to do is fallow the wires.
