He showed me that the capacitor was testing low, the contactor was worn and pitted, and even performed a megger test on the compressor to verify it was still healthy. After the repairs, he confirmed everything was working properly by showing me the compressor amperage had dropped back to normal and that the system had an 18-degree temperature split. I said I didn't want to spend that much money right now (quoted $10K) and he just made an excuse to leave, saying he needed to come back next week and would text me. Never contacted me again, just ghosted a customer upon not accepting an unnecessary $10K charge. Got another company to come out and they identified the issue and fixed it in under 20 minutes for under $300. Cali HVAC is just trying to scam people. So, when we had to replace/fix an air conditioner, it was a no brainer to call FUSE. But, this time around it was not as seamless as prior projects. There was a lack of communication, there was a lot of miscommunication and there were so many people (too many cooks spoil the broth - phone operators, technicians, email & text personal) from FUSE working on my project.
