I was impressed that I received a call right away to confirm that was not a mistake (thank you because you never know these days if someone has stolen your credit card or that you hit the back button and ordered twice by accident). That was much appreciated! And it was nice to know someone is at the store to assist if you need human interaction. And as one of the items was sold out, she recommended a suitable replacement and without hassle, the item was substituted. Delivery was prompt and products were received in good condition. So... I will definitely order here from now on.

I'm always surprised by the number of businesses just tucked away in suburban strip malls. I mean,…read morehow do enough people realized they're there in order to keep the shop in business? Well, last weekend I figured I'd do some adventure-shopping which led me to this little hideaway. Once you open the door, you'll be surprised by what you find. Unlike the pretty unremarkable exterior, the inside is kind of adorable with a section dedicated to festive teddy bears greeting you at the door. It's all very 'country kitchen' but that's a relief when you don't know if you're walking into a flower boutique or a total dive. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quite lovely as I checked out some of their premade bouquets and pretended for a minute I could come up with something unique from the mix-and-match selection. Spoiler: I couldn't. So I walked out with a nice glass globe holding some stones, watery greens, and a Gerbera daisy for $20. Modern, simple, and a nice way to celebrate a dose of Spring in the middle of February!

Late last year I began picking up a fresh arrangement for my fiancé about every two weeks. I tried several florist and the local floral departments at the supermarket. The cost are competitive and well worth every penny. The staff and owner are very respectful and knowledgeable and very friendly. I trust them wholeheartedly and plan to recommend them to my fiancé for our wedding's floral needs. I highly recommend this business

And other people mentioned the freshness of the flowers. I sent my mother flowers (ordered from NYC actually online) and I AM SO IMPRESSED. But I may have also benefitted from ordering early for mother's day (delivered on the Friday/today). I'm writing this ASAP so everyone knows- order your flowers early for Mother's day (or birthdays or whatever) from Janet's flowers in Dartmouth!!! Thank you!

Not knowing much about this store, I proceeded to ask for help. The lady told me the high chairs were on the 3 level, so off we went , up the stairs. When I got there, she showed me some beautiful chairs. I asked her to give me a ball park on the price and the cheapest high chair was $500! Oh my goodnes! Walmart had them for $50.00!! I literally turned around and walked out. On my way out, I noticed a few strollers for $1000. It was at that point when I started to RUN! WOW!

Excellent customer service…read more This was my first time (will not be my last time either) using Flower Trends Florists as I wanted something local. Using many flower delivery services, you have experiences with being left in the "dark" while waiting for the order to be shipped out, delivered, and hoping that the package gets to the proper location. That stress was alleviated immediately with one simple phone call. A very polite employee (apologize that the name was not asked for during the phone call, this employee deserves recognition) contacted me in the morning asking if; anyone was going to be at the requested location for the flowers to be delivered to, what would the easiest way for the delivery to be delivered etc. Never have I felt such great care about being a customer before. Thank you to the employee that contacted me. Good customer service is very hard to come by, and excellent customer service seems non-existent in today's world. Flower Trends Florists, pat yourselves on the back for having some amazing employees that seem to go above and beyond and exceed customer's expectations. Patrick D

Yesterday, the customer service I received from Flower Trends was completely unsatisfactory…read more I had brought my own vase as I was going directly to the hospital to deliver the flowers to a patient. I asked the staff member if she would cut the stems for me. She agreed but said they would then need go directly into water. This I understood and I asked if she would kindly put some water in the vase for me. Her response was that "this was not something they provided". In a flower shop I was unable to get a cup of tap water? I was quite shocked and said I would just use the water from my water bottle. Her response was a shrug of her shoulders. Furthermore, there was no extra greenery added or a package of plant food. Very poor service for $100.00.

I brief disclaimer: I don't know the first thing about flowers. I can't give this review based on…read morethe quality of a stem or anything like that. This review is based strictly on service. Recently I felt the urge to purchase flowers for my girlfriend. Generally I don't like the idea of flowers as a gift; they are quick to wither and seem a little expensive for such a short term gift, but she likes them so I knew I would have to give in eventually. I stopped into Barrington Florist on my lunch break and had a chat with one of the workers. I told her I wanted flowers (very specific, I know) and she began to ask questions only an expert would ask: What's the occasion, what are her favorite colors, what is your budget, etc. I had no idea there was such a science to putting together a bouquet! After I gave her a little information she suggested some nice options at a price I expected to pay. It's not the cheapest thing in the world, but it's definitely worth it. The Barrington Florist is not greatly located and I wonder if many people know it exists deep in the lower levels of the Bell/Aliant building. It's also really crowded and somewhat over stocked, but I guess that means you're just more likely to get what you're looking for. I'm still not totally sold on the idea of flowers as a gift, but if I'm ever so moved to pick some up again, I know where to go. And because I'm sure you're all wondering, yes, she loved the flowers and yes, I am the greatest boyfriend on earth.

The first thing that struck me was the lovely smell when I stepped into the warm store - it smelled like lavender and that delightful fresh baby scent that all newborns seem to have. I was greeted promptly and took my time perusing the selections. They have a huge array of soft reusable diapers as well as lots of books, both educational for parents-to-be and playful stories for young kiddies. They have lots of wares to make new parents comfortable, like baby slings and cozy blankets. This is a great place to go if you're expecting or you know someone with a bun in the oven. The store is gorgeous within, from the barn-board floor to the blackboard wall, to the rainbow of cloth diapers on display. The front windows are always a wonderland.
