He then went to Home Depot and returned within the hour and patched up the wall. Then came out Thursday morning to sand and paint it. Reasonably priced, fast and reliable. This is not a review for work done because we did not yet choose a company. However, Oscar was so…read morecourteous and professional that I felt he deserved acknowledgement and earned a 5 star review for doing the following: 1. He showed up a few minutes before the set appointment 2. He and is partner were both wearing a mask. This impressed me because I've had several service reps come to my home without masks! 3. He automatically took his shoes off before entering my home 4. He did not try to upsell me on the work to be done. 5. I received an itemized and professional invoice before he pulled out of the parking spot. Even though we did not choose him for this job, that does not mean I won't reach out to him for another job. I felt his pricing was fair but my husband felt we should continue to shop around. Who's to say that we won't end up going with him, after all? I have never given a review based upon an estimate but Oscar was so professional and courteous and that is something that is seriously lacking from MANY service reps these days. If we contract him for the work, I will update the review with pictures and add a review for the work performed

I cannot say enough good words about this company. I awoke this morning with rain pouring through…read moremy roof and my kitchen ceiling. It was a mess. I started searching and was frustrated I couldn't get anyone to respond today. Most were a week away. Pure luck caused me to call. The owner rearranged his schedule in order to get to me by early afternoon. He was clear and professional. We agreed to partner up; he'd get the siding and shingles, I'd get the paint. My roof was in rough shape. I expected him to pitch me a new roof, but he's too honest for that. Instead they worked into the evening, fixed everything, replaced some other siding unrelated to the leak, cleaned my gutters and blew out the leaves and mess from all around my house. And the cost was 20% less than the lowest alternative. A lifesaver!!!

Within about an hour of my long overdue and initial review, I was on the calendar for next day pressure washing! When I say A-MA-ZING, I really mean it! I've attached photos so that you can be the judge. Perry knows his craft. There's been a rust stain that we've been trying to have removed for YEARS! Previous contractors tried but were unable. More recently a contractor told us that we'd have to replace the vinyl siding! No, no, no (wagging my finger like Dikembe Mutombo!), not with the professional expertise of APPW! When others say they can't, know that Perry can! My husband and I are SO impressed. This was certainly money well spent and again we couldn't be more satisfied. In addition to technical know how, Perry and his teammate were prompt, extremely personable and completed the job in little time. Customer satisfaction is a priority with this company. Give APPW a call with confidence. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. APPW will be our choice everytime.

From there, we narrowed our choice down based on price, reviews, experience and also character and professionalism. A Step Above Restoration came in as our top choice without question for all those reasons. And after speaking with their team, it became more clear they were our front-runner. They are a family-owned business which means a lot in the current market landscape in our country. I want to support local, small business. One other great asset is the fact they're a one-stop shop; each team member has their own expertise so there are no sub-contractors involved. From HVAC, electrician, plumber and all other needs, they have it covered on their team; including the owner's son. ASAR have done great work for us and been top notch and extremely professional. There was a slight scare with weather on the appointed day, but they finally agreed to come out as I had the power turned off for the work. They came out and got it done. Very good job.
