I hired this electrician through Yelp to do work at my mother's home in New York, and since I live…read moreout of state in CA, I had to fully trust that they would take care of everything properly. They absolutely delivered. They installed three ceiling fans, added proper ground boxes, and completely redid sections of unsafe wiring that was old, brittle, and poorly handled before. What really stood out was their professionalism, they documented the entire process with photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my mom is extremely happy, and I feel so much better knowing her home is now significantly safer. Reliable, transparent, and clearly takes pride in their work. Highly recommend. Excellent quality of work for a great price.

I hired GroundElectric for a major electrical upgrade at my home in the Bronx, and the experience…read morewas excellent from start to finish. This was not a small job. It included a full service upgrade from 100A to 200A, a new panel, grounding and bonding throughout the house, correction of multiple inspection issues, new lighting, bathroom exhaust fan installation, staircase lighting, GFCIs, and additional interior work once the project was underway. Yonatan and his team handled all of it professionally, safely, and by the book. What stood out most was the level of care and transparency. Yonatan took the time to walk the house in detail, explain what was required by NYC code versus what was optional, and clearly outline the scope before any work began. When additional work made sense after opening things up, it was discussed first, priced clearly, and documented properly. No surprises. The crew was punctual, respectful of the home, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work is impeccable. The panel is clean and well-labeled, and everything functions exactly as promised. This is the kind of electrical work you want done once and done right, especially in an older NYC home. I would absolutely use GroundElectric again and recommend them without hesitation.

John was responsive, friendly and communicative and came to the house within a day to provide me with an estimate that I felt was very fair. He was transparent, describing in detail what areas of my property he thought would be more of a challenge to clean thoroughly, but was confident the house would be much cleaner when he was done...and he was right. On the day of the job, John arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and was accommodating with our alternate side / street parking situation (this being Sunnyside). He and his assistant worked quickly and the results were stunning. In particular, our driveway, sidewalks and front steps are cleaner than we've ever seen them. Flaky to schedule with and didn't do much for my home's exterior…read more Scheduling: I needed to follow up with these guys a couple times when they missed their time window or didn't get back in touch with a time. Effectiveness: They probably got 20% of the grime off my brick house before telling me it was not possible to get it any cleaner. I have to believe that a company that does this routinely could have given me a heads up that the "textured brick" or whatever could have made cleaning impossible. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Overpriced because I paid the agreed price for way less than the agreed upon service. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny.
