The french fries with brisket was excellent as was my wife's order of ribs. The young couple who own it are very nice and do a great job of taking care of everyone. I have been here several times and am never disappointed. The brisket is exactly how I like it: enough fat to keep it juicy and enough smoke so you know that is how it was roasted. The fries are good but I am obsessed with their green beans! Super friendly folks. Sauce comes on the side and I recommend the fries and green beans which had more flavor than the potato salad. My husband and I dug into the food before we could even snap a photo but please believe this place is a 5/5! It's obvious the food is made with love, and everything is homemade. It was our first time eating there and the service was so good you would've never known they were about to close. ASG BBQ has the most tender and juicy ribs, chicken and brisket. The meat will come me off the ribs with a gentle pull, so there is still a little chew to the ribs -they are awesome . My wife and I stopped in here along with our son recently and it didn't disappoint. Fresh, tasty, hearty BBQ at a great price. We had the meat sampler which came with brisket, ribs, sausage. All 3 were excellent, especially the Ribs and Brisket. The corn was also delicious as were the green beans, which had a hint of curry flavor. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. We are not from the area, but next time we visit South Padre Island will definitely make the effort to come back here. Great spot!!! read more

I've been meaning to write a review for some time, so here it is. Ain't She Grand BBQ is by far the best I've ever had. I'm not usually the biggest fan of bbq, but this place has changed my mind. We have had the following: brisket, pulled pork, the large baked potatoes with different meats, fideo (available on cooler days), smoked chicken, and the ain't she grand bowl. It is all de-frickin-licious! Oh, can't forget the homemade s'mores cookies and oatmeal crème pies. The staff is also so helpful and are the friendliest people I've met since moving here. The restaurant itself is very cute - a few booths and tables - decorated nicely and has always been clean. I cannot say enough great things about this place - it's not often you find a spot that has it all - great food, super-friendly and helpful staff AND a clean, cute space. We will be forever fans of Ain't She Grand BBQ! read more
