For my friends 30th and 26th birthdays we wanted to find a nice restaurant with a set course meal that could accommodate a vegetarian menu. It was super hard to find one in the Michelin guide - only Aimy and one other restaurant were the options, and Aimy was open on her birthday. Since the typical vegetarian options turn out to be Italian pizza, cannoli, and burrata salad we were excited to have some Asian cuisine. We were a little bit worried about the saltiness and vinegar which are the predominant flavors used in Germany, but we were pleasantly surprised at Aimy. The area around the restaurant was very nice and we arrived too late to explore it but definitely recommend to browse the neighborhood if you can.
I don't know everything that was a part of the menu, but everything from the octopus ceviche, tuna tacos, foie gras dumpling, tom yum soup, wagyu, truffled cauliflower, to dessert box with sparklers service for the birthdays were delightful. Other Michelin guide restaurants are more than double the price, and I bet Aimy is better than any of them just based on the menu. Highly recommend. read more
