Pad see ew.
Lucy W. H.

Very tiny hole in the wall where it's cheek by jowl. Our two dishes were disappointing. Duck noodle soup had old tough duck and no green vegetables. The pad see ewe used really thick noodles, overpowered the few slices of beef (also tough) and few florets of broccoli. A big miss.

Authentic Thai Food, I love this spicy Tom Kha

The restaurant is small but serves authentic Thai food. I love the spicy Tom Kha, it's spicy but tasty.

Minced pork with basil (pad krapao)

Minced pork with basil was delish and spicy..be careful of the red chillis.green curry chicken was average.pad khi mao is spicy dan delicious. Should have ordered the homemade flat noodles with extra 0.50 euro.

A tiny place with just a few tables. They serve really legit and simple thai standards. I had the pad ka pow and it was so spicy it felt like i was in Thailand again. The fried egg on top was also perfect.

Yes! The food was delicious, we had the #14 Khao Pad and #15 Pad Sie Oiw. The sauces can be spicy and the little red pepper creep up on you and can make you tear up. The place is tiny, luckily we caught it during a slow time. Food came out really quickly and was cooked within eye sight. Wish they served beer and had wifi, but I wont ding them for that. Price is affordable. Nice little joint, would make for amazing hangover food or late night after a few Pilseners, too bad they close at 9.

Chicken Pad Thai carry out

Note there are 3 locations along the block. If you want Pad Thai go to this one. They direct you if you stop at other location. This is for the location at 46. As noted in other reviews can be easily missed. It is on the right side of square and there is patio seating or enter door to right and head down the stairs. 8 euro for Pad Thai. The noodles were good but dish had zero flavor. As noted by others extremely greasy. Bottom of container full of oil so not edible for last half. The dish tasted like rice noodles mixed with crispy chicken. NO seasoning. 1 tiny piece of cilantro and about a 1/4 inch of green onion. No sauce or chilies. Would not recommend. Wish I would have opted for soup location bc those dishes looked amazing.

But again, it's delicious and they use the right ingredients, not like most of the Thai Restaurants in Munich.

This is ok tasting Thai food built for the German palette. It's a reasonably big place with nice intimate dimly lit interiors. There are seats outside as well for the warm days. It's located in a residential area and away from the main road so nice and quite. The menu is fairly big with a selection of starters, soups, salads and mains. It says Thai Vietnamese but most of it was Thai style. I was excited by the massaman curry in the menu and we decided to order it along with a papaya salad, green curry and duck red curry to share. We also had starters and I ordered a Peony Passion cocktail to start. I loved the cocktail but the food lacked the thick creamy texture you can expect in good curries and lacked intensity of flavour. Most of the sauces were too thin and took away from the flavour of the dish. The meat was very good quality but that did not make up for the lack of flavour. It was all ok tasting but nothing that blew me away. I tried the Mung bean ice cream which was also ok and did not taste like much, just quite sweet. Service was very friendly and welcoming and the prices were a bit on the high side. We thought our meal was ok but did not like it enough to make me want to come back here again. I am glad I tried it but not likely to rush back here again.

Very tasty, and we eat Thai food frequently. The ownera are clearly proud of their food!read more

We were invited to dinner here by a friend who loves this place. It's a fairly small restaurant…read morewith some outdoor seating during warmer months. It's divided into two rooms with a small hallway in the middle. The furniture here is nice and quite comfortable. The decor is simple but elegant. Good ambience with friendly service. It did get quite warm inside after it filled up but overall a lovely atmosphere. The menu here is quite extensive however, the choice of vegetarian is limited, all up about three or four dishes, I think. Many classic Thai dishes were on offer and as we were a group of six it was possible to try quite a few dishes off the menu ;-) we ordered the prawn wrapped in beetle leaf, veg spring rolls, banana flower salad, bean salad and prawn and seafood cake for starters. They were all ok but nothing blew me away on the starters. The banana flower salad had a good kick to it but the sauce was missing a bit of the sweet element common to this salad. My main course of fish with a salad of raw mango, lemongrass and good and it was spicy, as I asked for it spicy ;-) just note that spicy here is just that, spicy I really enjoyed this dish. I also tried four of the other main dishes and they were also quite ok. I had the date cake with ice cream for dessert and it was quite ok. The wine list is very small but well priced and decent. I have not had a lot of Thai food in Munich but, the ones I have had is generally below par. In comparison this place is a cut above. The ingredients are fresh and prices are also quite reasonable. The hosts are very friendly and service is quite ok. They did miss a few things as the place was full but on average, good service. Might want to reconsider the two plate main (rice comes on a separate plate) serving style, as it takes up too much room on the table. I would happily come here again. Good Thai places are hard to find in this town and this one delivers good quality and tasty Thai cuisine. With some modifications to the flavours this place would be perfect for me :-) It's good Thai served in a cosy ambience.

I don't give 5 stars often. If I knew how to recommend a place for a Michelin , I would!!!…read more The owner greeted us warmly even though we didn't have reservations. The restaurant and its few outdoor tables were already full in this sleepy northern suburb of München. We were seated right away, the back tables having a nice view of the green and peaceful back yard. She then proceeded to introduce us to Thai using a plate of fresh herbs and ingredients. Her enthusiasm, cheerfulness and knowledge was the same for each group that came in. At her recommendation, we tried the kha appetizer. I literally had to pause and sigh after the first bite of kha. The combination of flavor, spice and temperature was exquisite. The rest of the meal was equally amazing. I would fly back to Munich just to eat dinner here.
