CARMA CHAMELEON It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road...... People are stupid. Cars break. Fortunately, these guys've got your back. I came here a few weeks ago to get an estimate on getting my side mirror fixed, among other minor automotive work. Well wouldn't ya know it, the same day I came in to schedule said work some lady (who I'm now *positive* was texting-and-driving) smashed into the rear bumper of my poor Mazda. It got jacked up, folks, wasn't a pretty sight. It was at this point I HAD to get my sh*t fixed; thankfully I already had a body shop in mind. Oscar wrote up an estimate and took care of everything from a paperwork standpoint, while another guy drove me to a nearby Enterprise so I could use a rental in the interim. The people I interacted with at AIM had a pleasantly chill attitude but still struck me as professionals through-and-through. After what might've been 10 days or so, I picked up my rebel alliance cruiser (I have a 'Star Wars' license plate, don't judge) and she was looking as good as new.....maybe even better. They were able to get the dents 99% repaired and addressed all of the stuff that was broken, missing, or otherwise f*cked up. The guys here threw on a coat of wax and even cleaned the interior -- which was dusty as hell -- turning a good experience into a great one. Whereas previously I was embarrassed about driving around my new-but-broken car, I'm now proud to take it on the road. Accident-free driving for this guy! Been a previous customer here before couple of times and never had an issue and Oscar & his brother deal directly w the insurance company. What has drawn me back is that they give you $500 towards your deductible and since I have a $1000 deductible it helps me out. This isn't a bad review but just a warning towards others that if you come here on Your own by choosing this establishment instead of choosing where the insurance company sends you, You won't get a guarantee on your work from the insurance company and even though Aim Collison provides a warranty the only warning I want to give others is if they use used parts their work will avoid the warranty. A lot of places uses used parts so if I would of known that I would of gone to a place closer to my house that works with Allstate. So now I'm stuck with a messed up trunk that water gets into w the rain and car washes because either place will help me with this issue. So just do your homework read more

My car was towed to Aim collision center on 8/26/2023. They completed an estimate and submitted it to my insurance company. My first initial payment to them was on 10/02 of 14,343.44. They were paid an additional 2604.63. After several supplements including one for 9k + the adjuster came out on 10/18 and deemed the car a total loss. Per the adjuster notes there was no work done to the vehicle. I contacted Oscar and Brandon and explained that I want them to be paid for the work and time they have completed and we would need an itemized list of the work done as well as the parts purchased. If parts were purchased we would need those back or the money back as we cannot pay for parts and allow them to keep them. He instructed me he would send the parts with the car when they came to tow it. When the tow came to pick up my vehicle on 11/1/2023. The driver called the salvage yard and explained that Oscar would not release the parts and wanted another flatbed to come back for the larger parts. I called Oscar the next day to check on the parts to my car and he instructed me he sent them with RG express. I have reached out to RG EXPRESS and they stated they never sent a truck to pick up parts as State Farm would've needed to sign off on that for them to be paid. He also told me he spoke with Oscar and told him to show the camera footage where they picked up the parts and was unsuccessful. The manager at RG express explained to me their process for picking up loads and that they never went to get the parts. Oscar has a dvr camera system in his shop and should be able to prove the parts were picked up. I explained to Oscar that he is liable for the parts being that they were last in his possession and out of the 17k we've already paid, 10k of that is for parts that we do not have. If he can help me locate the parts I will stand behind him and his shop 100% because I chose them. I Could've went anywhere but I wanted to work with them because they seemed to be honest people and no way do I want to bash a company as I am a business owner myself. I cannot allow them to steal my money. I don't have a car at all and I paid 17k for repairs that I didn't receive as well as parts I have no clue where they are. So I am out of money as well. Oscar since then has not located the parts or helped me figure out where they can be. All I asked for is help with this. Help me make sense of all of this. He has not refunded any money for work not completed on my vehicle. My car looks the exact same as it was when we dropped it off. There wasn't any work done to my car nor do I have the parts he purchased with the 17k I provided. Oscar informed me the smaller parts were in the trunk. The manager at copart checked the trunk as well as I drove to the salvage yard to personally check myself. I went there because they have a good yelp rating, and they deserve every bit of it. I had some damage done to me parked car from an amazon truck. They quoted me $2800 which seemed right on, for a damaged door, bumper, fender... Another place down the street quoted me $5500 but would give me "a little cash" from the insurance money...the hell with that. Unfortunately the concrete column in my garage found my passenger side bumper, again. Aim was 35% cheaper than a shop in Oak Park. Not only that but they gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car and then picked me up when it was ready. When was it ready? In less than 24 hours after I brought it in. The work is seamless and they even wash the car and vacuum it out. These guys are top notch and super friendly. The shop is also super clean. read more

I was hoping to share a great experience after taking my vehicle in to get the right side repaired which came out great. But upon further inspection I noticed a scratch on the left side of the car. I immediately called and was told well "we didn't do that." I know my car. I get in it everyday. Why would I bring you a vehicle to repair and only have you repair one side. Basically they scratched my car and refuse to fix it. It's funny how nice they are but how soon they don't care after they got your money. Stay away from this place unless you want to pay for additional scratches they give. read more

I have had four of my vehicles serviced by Aim Collision and have always had my expectations surpassed. Two Trucks I had "Black Out" jobs done to which involved powder coating the rims and bumpers, painting decals and front grill, tinting front, rear and cab tail lights as well as tinting all windows. The quality of work has always been top notch. I have unfortunately also had to have bodywork done on a couple occasions and my cars were repaired to as good as new. My uncle got his car fixed here a while back and strongly recommended Oscar Jr. and the guys at AIM. I took his advice and brought my Tahoe in after some motherless piece of garbage vandelized it at a movie theatre on black Friday. From the beginning they had a rough time with my insurance company who were being extremely cheap. The adjusters kept overlooking evrything they could to beat me up on paying out, but AIM never made it my problem and advocated for me. They went above and beyond, fighting the adjusters and making everthing right getting me the best replacement parts and providing outstanding customer service. Speedy work was not a concern because I had a rental but when I did need the car back, there was a problem with the ignition that required an outside locksmith to come in. The locksmith never showed up so O.B. and Manny came in the next day "on a Saturday" just to get me done. Not too many shops would go to that extreme for a repair like mine! They kept plugging at the problem until it was corrected. If you want a shop that doesnt bullshit you and treats you like family,, this is about as good as it gets! I now have a 64 Chevy restoration project that I decide to bring to them. They gave me a great estimate and based on the other classics they have in the shop,,I expect to be extremely satisfied! read more
