I'll admit, at first I thought that she'd drop me off the chair when realigning my back, but she's a pro. (She told me she hasn't dropped a patient yet.) She monitors her patients on a weekly basis and will vary the treatment based on how severe the pain has been. I like the Reiss Group because they take a very wholistic approach to wellness. A lot of patients have back pain because they are overweight, and Dr. Reiss and Dr. Squitieri offer weight loss plans that are apparently very successful. Plus, they also have a Twitter and e-mail newsletter in which they provide updates with news and tips.

I went to him for help with my back pain and my symptoms have improved. I will definitely go back to him for care. The front staff in the Brooklyn office are also helpful and friendly, as well as many of the assistants in the back. I am giving four stars because on my most recent visit, I had an uncomfortable experience with one of the male staff who set up the therapy in the back. He made a comment about my body, joking "Don't I eat?" since I am skinny, and then he proceeded to make comments about people who gain weight after college and referred to them as "whales." As a skinny person, it did not make me feel safe in the office and his further comments also make me concerned for fat patients who come in and receive care here. This moment made me hope that the staff receives more training in this area for patient care.
