In the times when I was allowing emotion to take over he stepped in to bring logic and my life (long term) back into focus. He knew the law better than anyone and ultimately that is what prevailed in my divorce case. Knowing the law and what to reasonably expect was critical for me in making important decisions. Stephen brought that to the table and got the best possible outcome for me and my daughter. We will be forever grateful for his extremely valuable expertise.

I went into this divorce process scared and hoping someone would just tell me everything would be…read moreeasy and work out perfectly. That's not what Debbie did, and honestly, I'm glad she didn't. She told me the hard truths right from the start. There was no sugarcoating, no false promises. She's a total straight shooter, and in a situation like this, that's exactly what I needed. It wasn't always what I wanted to hear, but it helped me make real decisions instead of living in denial. She takes the initiative without me having to chase her down or beg for updates. She's always two steps ahead, thinking about what needs to happen next. Super involved, very personal, like she actually cares about how this affects me and my life, not just another file on her desk. She got me remote court appearances when I really needed that flexibility, which made a huge difference with my schedule and stress level. And the communication? Unreal. Emails at all hours; early morning, late night, weekends. She was always prompt with her responses and never left me hanging wondering what was going on. If you want someone who will fight for you, keep it real, and actually be there when you need them, she's the one. Highly recommend.

Right after I hired her, she begged me to write a good review about her because she said that her…read moreother clients wrote bad reviews about her and she was worried that she would lose her business. So I did her favor for writing a good review about her. However, later I learned that she is a full of scams. She refused to provide evidences that could end the case right there to the judge to prolong the case in order for her to gain more money. She took $30,000 within 10 months from me and didn't resolve anything. I just fired her. She claimed herself as " Children come first" however, she kept ignoring my concerns about my children"s safety and laughing. Even when I have a audio recording of my children"s father abusing my child physically and crying and calling mommy for help.... She does not care about the children at all. She only care about how she can fool people to gain more money. She is abusive, toxic, disrespectful, manipulative and twist everything. She constantly gossip about her other clients disrespectfully. I would never recommend her to anyone. I'm palling to take this to the court.

Rebecca has been incredibly kind and patient during this entire legal process. She's the only…read morelawyer I've spoken to who presented herself as more genuine and not so commercial.

I retained Rebecca Dahlen to represent me in a matrimonial matter and unfortunately had a very…read moredisappointing experience. My primary concerns were responsiveness, timeliness, and preparedness. On multiple occasions, I had to follow up for work or information that I expected to receive without repeated prompting. At one point, I specifically confirmed in advance that materials I had provided would be reviewed before a scheduled meeting, but I came away from the meeting concerned that the necessary preparation had not occurred. The representation ultimately ended when Rebecca decided to terminate the attorney-client relationship. Even after that decision, I experienced delays with the transition to replacement counsel and had to repeatedly follow up regarding my file and work product. Most frustratingly, after Rebecca and I had spent considerable time reviewing a settlement agreement provision by provision and discussing proposed changes, the marked-up document reflecting that work was not included in the file initially transferred to my new attorney, requiring yet another follow-up. Divorce matters are already stressful, and I believe clients should be able to expect timely communication, careful preparation, and an orderly transition if representation ends. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of those expectations.

would never recommend this lawyer. I really don't understand how others do when all she does is…read moreovercharge her clients. She rarely returns calls and has unreasonable fees. For example, a simple two-second phone call reminding you of a court date--something you didn't even request--costs $50. An email is $150, and sending an email on your behalf is $250. Her hourly rate is $600, and she charges $600 for travel and $60 to $100 for parking. To review her own file before going to court costs $400. The basic things for any lawyer to do is meet with their client before any hearing she does not even though she did not see or hear from the person for over 6 months. How can you speak for that person? And turn around charge the person $4500 for that 30 minutes court hearing? If that is not scam I really do not know what is . For her to show up for a hearing, it could cost you between $3,000 and $4,000. She seems indifferent to her clients, focusing only on dragging out cases. Whenever the opposing side makes requests, she does not advocate for her clients; she allows things to drag on unnecessarily. A friend of mine hired her, and she completely ruined them. They had to file for bankruptcy, and the other side won everything. She lied to them throughout the hearing and essentially sold them out to the opposing side. If you are currently represented by her, I urge you to leave; it will not get better, and you may face serious consequences. Her retainer fee is $5,000, which quickly disappears in charges. It's a shame to see how divorce court allows people like her to exploit vulnerable individuals. She was even late for court once, and when the person called to check on her arrival, they were charged $160 for that brief phone call. A case that should take three months to a year took over four years. For a trial, she charges over $12000 for just that one day. Ultimately, the individual lost everything and is now homeless. I will go on every platform and expose this person. She should not allowed to scam and misleading people like that.
