Our HOA boards had neglected our teak benches for many years. The property manager's bids were so ludicrous that homeowners wanted the benches gone! Teak has a lifespan of 50Y so I was able to research and find Alex at My Teak Pro. He rescued 37 benches! The before and after photos speak for themselves. Alex bid the job, brought in a crew and completed the work ahead of schedule. He prioritized customer service and satisfaction. He did everything I requested and used ample product to get the rich looking results. He was honest and not one to cut corners and I noticed and appreciate those qualities. He communicated several times a day, provided progress photos and did a superb job. As HOA President I've seen big companies do subpar work and are not nearly as professional but Alex is a PRO! Supporting small local businesses are the best decisions I've made. The homeowner's are pleased and because he did not gouge us he will be on our annual rotation for keeping our benches tip-top! I highly recommend Alex and My Teak Pro!

She received it as a wedding gift in approximately 1944. After a lot of research, a local company told me about Fallani's Restoration. When I dropped it off to Mauro at Fallani's, he asked for the history. I told him it is my paternal Grandmother's cedar chest; how the piece has passed from one family member to the next; and how I really want my Father to see his Mother's cedar chest fully restored before he passes. Mauro took all of this to heart and said "I want to make it perfect for your family." Today I picked up the piece and I can wholeheartedly say he did exactly that! My family is so pleased, and we are especially happy that during the entire restoration I told Mauro "restore it as if it was yours." I can't explain how happy all of family is about Grandma's cedar chest as I have sent pictures around. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mauro!

I requested an antique hutch to be restored. I didn't love that they initially tried to charge me…read morejust to come and evaluate the scope of work for the piece, especially when I knew the pricing was probably going to be costly (and it was). Thankfully they waived the fee. I trusted that they would do a good job based on their portfolio. They were accurate in their timeline for the completion of the project and the resulting hutch looks fantastic, I have no complaints there. The main reason I am giving this business two stars is because their communication leaves A LOT to be desired. I asked for progress photos as they were working on the piece in their shop. They never sent pictures until I had to follow up and ask for them. They knew ahead of time that they were going to need to deliver my piece urgently because they were going to need all the space in their shop for their next project. Yet, they did not communicate this with me until the very last minute, what were they going to do with my piece if I was unavailable for delivery when they needed it gone? That seemed like poor planning to me. Upon the initial quoting of the piece, I specifically asked them to not only have the main mirror replaced by their third party, but also have the antique locks repaired. I provided them with a key that fit the lock to aid in this process. They returned my piece to me with not only the lock issue not addressed, but also with one of the cabinet doors not fully functional (which is not how it was when they took the piece at the beginning). I had to report this issue after they had already left. It was only then that he recommended I contact his third party locksmith to resolve the issue. His recommended locksmith (Sav-Mor Lock & Key) has been completely unresponsive, and I can't find other locksmiths who specialize in antique locks. I then asked Haer where is the key that I gave them when they picked up the hutch, and it was only THEN that they told me they tried to test the key in one of the locks and a piece of the key broke off and is STILL currently stuck in one of the locks (they also didn't specify which lock they tested either). I am extremely disappointed and frustrated because I clearly specified all my needs before they accepted the project, and now I received an incomplete service. They have also stopped responding to my communications completely, which I find outrageous and irresponsible. I also got the impression that working on my project was a chore for them, as if I didn't pay top dollar for them to give me their best work. Again, in terms of their actual craftsmanship, Jose (who I believe did most of the work) did a great job. However, communication is a huge factor in determining who I award my business to, and based on my experience I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting them with another one of my projects.

Fadi took the time to listen to our needs-we did not want teak oil on the deck chair because the resulting color does not match our other furniture. Should be noted that deck chairs are notoriously difficult as they have tons of slats and are a pain to prep and sand down. He did an amazing job and in quick time. We had a similarly positive experience with our BBQ table. It now has a beautifully refreshed look and badly needed weather protection. We experienced great communication and prices were very fair. They were in good shape with the exception that some of the framing was getting pitted and straps were faded, but not broken. This set, including the glass table, have been outside in the sea air and all elements since they were purchased. We wanted to honor my wife's grandparents by not replacing this set. So we decided to invest in a restoration, due to how well made this set is. I found Patio Guys on Yelp and decided to use them for this project. As we were starting to wipe down the chairs, we noticed a label on one of the chair frames, which was a Patio Guys restoration logo decal. Turns out our late relative had used them before, but uncertain at what decade were they restored before. I guess it was destiny to use Patio Guys. For the strap width of what our chairs required, there was not a huge selection to choose from. So if you're looking to replace with a sunny yellow, orange or teal, you'll need to make an alternate choice. Lots of whites, creams, tans, and earthy greens to choose from. The only blue is like a Dodger blue or a forest green. So we took a leap of faith and chose turquoise. It's perfect!! We were in no hurry and quoted 4 weeks turn around time. It was more like 6 weeks, but I was anticipating more like 10 weeks. Plus we were the cause of not getting the chairs back sooner due to our schedule. The job Patio Guys has exceeding my expectations. I knew the patio set would look better than the existing condition, but I wasn't expecting a brand new condition.
