For example, with the carpets, he insisted on getting the couch (which has been installed for years) out and cleaning the carpet behind it. I was amazed an appalled at what was behind there!!! He didn't have to do that. He's a perfectionist. Third, price. I do only have a one bed apartment but the service he gave me for the whole place ($150) I have received before and paid double for. Forth, this is a man who loves his job. What makes you happy won't make him happy. He knows clean better than you. Fifth. Products. The last time I had my carpets cleaned by some cowboys they used chemicals. Tony uses natural products that cost him more but are far better for both the carpets and the scent afterwards. He doesn't cut any costs and those costs aren't passed onto you. Sixth, work ethic. Tony was supposed to be here for two hours. He was here for four hours at no extra cost. How about that? Seventh. A portion of their living room and hallway carpets needed cleaning, less than 300 square feet. Note: two years ago another service cleaned around 600 square feet for $230.00 which I thought was fair. They told me they would call me with an estimate before doing the job; they did not! I called my folks to check on things and they said the cleaners had come and gone. They charged my parents, 88 and 85 years old, $630.00, AND THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE CARPETS! This constitutes financial elder abuse in my book! My mother told me they just spread the stains around and made them worse. I confirmed that when I arrived 1 1/2 weeks later. I called to complain. They asked for the receipt, which I provided along with the check stub. After four days I called to ask for a refund as a very dissatisfied customer, the manager tried to manipulate me for more work (we don't want them back) and actually tried to make a financial wager with me, "double or nothing." (I'll admit I cussed at him for that). Please don't make the same mistake as I did, and stand against elder abuse.
