We wanted to create our steep yard into usable space and Gabriel along with his crew achieved that goal. We built a pool but the hardscape to support the pool needed to be created. With truck loads of dirt brought in along with several retaining walls to be created they built our dream backyard. We also wanted some privacy created and Gabriel's idea of a decorative wall was the cherry on the top of the yard. Thank you for giving us so much usable space as well as making sure all the drains were in the correct spot. We have gone through the last 2 rainy seasons with this backyard and every deck his team created drained properly and withstood all the water with no issues. Gabriel also made some suggestions to our plans that were needed for the longevity of our dream yard. He didn't pressure us but gave us the pro and cons on different issues we had to deal with and let us decide. It was much appreciated since we wouldn't have known future issues that could arise. Lastly, Gabriel always answered his phone when we called. He was receptive, dealt with any concerns and his team cleaned up daily which didn't happen with other contractors. Thank you, we highly recommend Gabriel and his team for your backyard

The project included a complete redo of our large landscape area. It included complete replacement of drainage, irrigation, ground modification and soil prep. She personally picked out the hundreds of plants and trees and directed her staff in planting. She helped design and had installed almost 100 new landscape lights with transformers. She helped us modify the landscape design to achieve our goal and closely supervised her staff. She was onsite frequently and did all of the plant placement decisions. She was instrumental in adding some major enhancements to the original landscape plan. Her 3 employees who did the job were outstanding and worked tirelessly every day. Their attention to detail and quality of work was exceptional. Martin made major adjustments in irrigation, drainage, equipment choices and ground modification to complete the job properly. Both Raul and Pompello did excellent jobs. Overall we highly recommend Janet and her team for any landscape project.

She has knowledge in multiple areas that make her well equipped to address the project holistically rather than just address part of it. Throughout the entire project I always knew what to expect from her team, what they needed from me and when, and how much/when the payments were due. 3. She is very reasonably priced, especially given her combination of skills and the quality of her team members. Our experience with her was so great that we have already reached out to ask her to work on another project for us.

I was totally surprised by the fact that they had affordable options too. We didn't have much of a budget, but we received options that not only look great but are a huge upgrade in quality over what we had previously at a really affordable price. A couple of key highlights - I asked a LOT of questions and asked for pricing on several different configurations. They were great at answering my questions and working up several different prices. Never felt like they were getting annoyed. - Never got up-sold on anything. Eli even suggested we go with the less expensive option of cabinets based on how he felt we would like them and the fact we have two young kids. - Showed up when they said they would - Took care of every detail needed - I have no doubt that if an issue arises, they will stand behind their work and get it fixed to the best of their ability. would recommend them to my own family

We had quite a bit of work done to our landscape and outdoor living area with Luis and his crew…read more The work was planned out by a landscape designer and we had multiple bids on the project. We chose to go with Luis as his bid had tremendous detail and was very reasonable in price. Luis had worked with our landscape designer previously and we found that the two worked together really well and communicated very clearly. The project involved a large, deep footing on the bottom of our slope to support our fence which had been sliding significantly since we first constructed it as part of the construction of our pool. We thought that work came out great. Our neighbors were impressed with Luis's crew's attention to detail and the work looks great. In addition to the fence and footing, we had Luis reconstruct a slope (using bobcat to move significant amount of dirt) on the other side of the house and build a keystone retaining wall. We installed a drip irrigation system and fruit trees/succulents as designed by our landscape designer. We also installed low voltage lighting on and around the landscape. In the living area, we installed a 14x12 foot gazebo style structure (similar to a separate project pictured from a different project) with all electrical and coax run all the way out to the structure. With the electrical we have a fan, inset led lighting along with light switches and multiple outlets for TV/music/etc. Luis installed and setup our outdoor TV, speakers and wiring. Luis did all the electrical to support the new line. Finally, we built a trex composite deck and rail in the outdoor living area. This involved quite a bit of pavers installed on and around the deck/living area per our hardscape design. We are very happy with the work and found the entire crew to be very friendly and hard working. They did a great job keeping the job site clean (as Luis promised) and were always prompt arriving. Either Luis or Daniel was on site most days and did a great job communicating all issues to me or my wife. We did notice that Luis rarely writes things down, but he seems to remember everything we discussed, so that si fine with us

The renderings Gabriel creates are absolutely stunning, incredibly lifelike, and they offer unlimited revisions until everything is exactly right. The quality of their planning and attention to detail is exceptional. Tony immediately scheduled a meeting with the city inspector to build a relationship and ensure every aspect of the project is done correctly and up to code from the very beginning, which gave us tremendous confidence. The job site has been immaculate, the professionalism has been outstanding, and it's obvious this family-owned business truly takes pride in their work and their clients. Rivers Landscape is the best landscape and general contractor I have encountered in over 40 years…read more I interviewed 8 contractors and chose Rivers to do a major project at my home. Thank you to Cesar, Gus, Tony, Carlos, Gabriel, and all of the highly skilled workers who made my dream patio come true. One year ago, a terrible storm destroyed my pergola, kitchen counter, and Grill appliances. The Rivers team exceeded all of my expectations and created a masterpiece. They took care of the concept, all design details, the permit process, the coordination of suppliers and equipment, new utilities, and the installation. The work included installing a 30' X 30' Pergola, upgrading the outdoor wall lighting, creating a rose garden, new sod on the lawn, restoring the irrigation system, restoring the landscape lighting, and of course creating a new chef's kitchen. Their design recommendations were always on target and their estimated 6-week schedule from demolition to final clean up was accurate to the day. Everything they did was professional and high quality. We will enjoy our patio and kitchen for years to come and we highly endorse and recommend Rivers Landscape and Construction for any General Contracting. Juan R.
