I am utterly confused as to why anyone who has actually worked with Brent would give him a 5 star…read morereview, but I see that almost every positive review is 4+ years old, so maybe something was different back then in how the company was run. Working with him has made me concerned about working with any contractors in the future as my fiance and I are pretty new to home ownership and updates. For one thing, Brent's communication is ATROCIOUS. Every single step of the way. You will always have to hunt him down if you discuss anything. Huge red flag. For another thing, he was COMPLETELY disrespectful of the budget we told him. He smiled and nodded and then proceeded to give us a plan 4-5 times what we asked for. Brent totally botched one corner of our yard, and did not have the competence to fix it, or willingness to look into it further or hire a subcontractor. He has just stopped communicating with us even though as of July 31st of this year he texted us that he would be coming over to look at it again. He does not take responsibility for any of this of course- it is the manufacturer's fault or our fault because our budget was so small (still tens of thousands of dollars) that he was barely willing to take a job like this and he let us know it. After we paid him, of course. His design work is nothing you should pay this kind of money for. We are looking into our rights and options now. I would caution anyone against working with him.

We wanted to create our steep yard into usable space and Gabriel along with his crew achieved that goal. We built a pool but the hardscape to support the pool needed to be created. With truck loads of dirt brought in along with several retaining walls to be created they built our dream backyard. We also wanted some privacy created and Gabriel's idea of a decorative wall was the cherry on the top of the yard. Thank you for giving us so much usable space as well as making sure all the drains were in the correct spot. We have gone through the last 2 rainy seasons with this backyard and every deck his team created drained properly and withstood all the water with no issues. Gabriel also made some suggestions to our plans that were needed for the longevity of our dream yard. He didn't pressure us but gave us the pro and cons on different issues we had to deal with and let us decide. It was much appreciated since we wouldn't have known future issues that could arise. Lastly, Gabriel always answered his phone when we called. He was receptive, dealt with any concerns and his team cleaned up daily which didn't happen with other contractors. We described the landscape style that we wanted, and Glenn turned our concept into a detailed design, including choices for plants, boulders, and stones. With installation just completed, Glenn's design has turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We couldn't be happier.

We had quite a bit of work done to our landscape and outdoor living area with Luis and his crew…read more The work was planned out by a landscape designer and we had multiple bids on the project. We chose to go with Luis as his bid had tremendous detail and was very reasonable in price. Luis had worked with our landscape designer previously and we found that the two worked together really well and communicated very clearly. The project involved a large, deep footing on the bottom of our slope to support our fence which had been sliding significantly since we first constructed it as part of the construction of our pool. We thought that work came out great. Our neighbors were impressed with Luis's crew's attention to detail and the work looks great. In addition to the fence and footing, we had Luis reconstruct a slope (using bobcat to move significant amount of dirt) on the other side of the house and build a keystone retaining wall. We installed a drip irrigation system and fruit trees/succulents as designed by our landscape designer. We also installed low voltage lighting on and around the landscape. In the living area, we installed a 14x12 foot gazebo style structure (similar to a separate project pictured from a different project) with all electrical and coax run all the way out to the structure. With the electrical we have a fan, inset led lighting along with light switches and multiple outlets for TV/music/etc. Luis installed and setup our outdoor TV, speakers and wiring. Luis did all the electrical to support the new line. Finally, we built a trex composite deck and rail in the outdoor living area. This involved quite a bit of pavers installed on and around the deck/living area per our hardscape design. We are very happy with the work and found the entire crew to be very friendly and hard working. They did a great job keeping the job site clean (as Luis promised) and were always prompt arriving. Either Luis or Daniel was on site most days and did a great job communicating all issues to me or my wife.
