Aguiar Pavers came all the way to Spokane to install a new driveway and front walkway for our house. They did a top of the line, professional, fabulous job. The crew was knowledgeable and obviously very, very experienced, paying attention to our needs and took care of every detail to make sure the job was perfect. They were also friendly and respectful. We're delighted with the results and we highly recommend their services.

We researched various types of pavers for our back patio area and selected MSI Arterra Porcelain (2x2') Pavers. Wesley Aguilar came out for the 500 sq.feet quote and provided excellent feedback and a competitive quote. The job ended up being more of a bigger job than we first thought. The Aguilar crew was polite, respectful, and cleaned up after the work each day. Any questions or concerns we had was immediately addressed. We love the patio and how it turned out and looking forward to enjoying it more next summer! We would definitely recommend Aguilar Pavers to others. Keola & Bridgette

Excellent work! Affordable bids! Easy to work with! We had Aguiar Pavers install two circle patios and a curvy walkway back in June 2019. We loved the work they did and decided to have them back in April 2022 to install of 1/2 circle plus walkway. We LOVE the pavers and the work they did! Very professional and clean. We would definitely them back for any future projects!

I cannot say enough positive things about Aguiar Pavers! We hired them to do a smaller project, replacing sod with turf and putting in a new paver patio. Lizzette was great to work with and got us a reasonable quote quickly, answering all of our questions in a timely manner. We're in the middle of a pandemic and they only had to reschedule work once and were very good about communicating it. Then the day of team that did the work was great! Everyone was wearing mask and worked so hard to get this done in a very cold November rain.

First try

Overpriced based on the quality of work. I give them 2 starts based on the friendly office staff (and estimator), but the people that do the work are another story. I got tricked by the commercials, and was willing to pay a bit more for better quality work but that is not what I got. The first picture below is what they tried to call finished the first time. We had the crew call the Owner and got the "I'm not driving 2 hours to look at the work" that a previous reviewer got. But since we had not made the final payment, the crew returned a week later and spent two days doing little work and left the path in the final state shown in the second picture. There were many quality issues, but the most visible is the edge. After the 2 day redo we decided this company was not capable of doing a proper edge and had caused other problems trying the fix the other issues we reported. It was time to move on. Save yourself the extra money, this is an average installer at best so pay accordingly.

Aguiar Pavers was very pleasant to work with, and we are very happy with the turf-stone driveway they put in for us. Leena was super friendly and patient with us with all our concerns and questions. The work crew was friendly and well experienced, and they made our driveway look awesome! We can't wait for some grass to start to grow (they laid down new soil and grass-seed) We recommend working with this company because they were professional, responsive and did a great job.

My husband has been wheelchair-bound for over a year and had trouble accessing the back yard. We called Aguiar Pavers and they were able to accommodate us by moving up the date of the installation of the walkway. The men who arrived were masked, hard-working, and tenacious. They completed the work in one long day. The artistry of one of the young men (Osmy)who placed the pavers was amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with how the project turned out.

The workers are very good and did a great job! We like the patios and walkway. Jeremy is also follow up the whole process, and gave us a good service.

Customers be aware that their 10-year-warranty is a joke. They blame the poor job on anything to avoid the responsibility for warranty repair. For example, they first blamed it on poor quality of the slabs we chose and then they blamed it on ground movement. We hired this company to built a patio in 2018. The business owner was very reassuring and confident during consultation that if they do the job the slabs will not sink. The crew forgot to turn off the water and left the water running overnight. The next day when they came back to finish the job they just wanted to rush and finish up. They did not fix the issue with the uneven slabs. The 2'x2' vancouver bay slabs started to sink more and more. We infomed them that the sinking slabs are getting worse. It took them 2 months to come back to repair it. When we let Jodelle (the business manager the time) know of this matter, she had the entitled attitude telling us that they will charge us for any future repairs. Long story short, the repair did not last long and after a few rains, the slabs sunk further and became more uneven because they filled up the base with a lot of the existing dirt (loam soil) that was already there. This is why the patio kept getting worse. She thinks she did us a favor to come back 2 months after installation to fix poorly installed patio. We are going to file a complaint against Aguiar Pavers with Washington State attorney general consumer protection office.

Jacob assured us the plants would be avoided as best as possible, and went over what should be moved or tied back to help ensure they were protected. Inevitably a couple of plants were just too in the way, but overall the team took lots of care around them. There was a little delay with the posts we went with and Jacob communicated wonderfully about this, and worked to get us in immediately once the posts were finished with the fabricator. Cristian led the work crew and was an excellent communicator throughout. We ran into a couple of underground wires that were not properly marked by the marking company, he was extremely remorseful and one of the guys ran out to get parts immediately to put in a temporary fix. Again, this was not their fault, yet they took responsibility. The team worked hard for several days, always communicating what was happening. They were respectful, and not loud (except for power tools as needed). The project made a bit of a mess, I was a little worried about clean up, but Cristian assured me they would be doing a full clean up once the project concluded. They did such a great job cleaning up! For such a nuanced project, they did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them. We are so pleased! Thanks Neighborly!

Our assigned estimator Kimball came by for the initial walk through on July 3rd. We walked the property and I pointed out areas that we wanted cleared and bark added to suppress new growth. He left us with a video of him walking the property and shortly thereafter we had an estimate. My wife and I reviewed it, and wanted to see what it would cost to add landscaping fabric and rocks to some of the areas on the initial estimate. I responded to Kimball and he asked for a Google image of the home with the areas we wanted the work done marked. I then sent him the requested materials via a color coded aerial image. Kimball then asked to come out for a second look to make sure his measurements were correct. I was unable to accompany him for that walk, but he did do the checkup. We had a second open ended estimate shortly thereafter showing what the added rocks and fabric would run per square yard. We then decided on just doing bark (simplest install) - no landscaping fabric or rocks, but in all of the same areas marked on the aerial photo. To be doubly safe, I sent him a second aerial photo marking where we wanted the bark. Kimball's final estimate included a breakdown of what 4 yards, 6 yards, 8 yards or 10 yards bark would cost to procure and install. He told me that they would start at 6 yards with our property per his assessment, and if more were needed, they would request the additional amount day of the job. 7/25/26. The day of the job. Lee's arrived, I walked the grounds with the foreman and they got to work. Late in the day, I got a call from Kimball saying that the 6 cubic yards of bark he'd ordered wasn't enough to cover everything and that they needed another 2 cubic yards to the tune of several hundred dollars to complete all areas we wanted covered. I agreed to the up charge and Lee's crew completed the job. About 10 days went by, and our very nice looking yard started to sprout weeds all over the place. Naturally, I was expecting to see obvious weed growth here and there pop up, but this seemed like a lot. Regardless, I got to work pulling the weeds every 3-4 days or so, added some more bagged bark I purchased from Carpenitos here and there, and as I tackled each section of the yard on various days. Then, they exploded. By the 6th week, we were overrun and I couldn't keep up. I did some checking, and found that for successful weed suppression, you need at least 3-4 inches of bark coverage to prevent light from reaching the newly cleared topsoil. Lee's quote stated they they lay down "at least 2-3 inches" of bark - not the gold standard 3-4 inches, but fairly adequate. So, I got out there with a yardstick and started measuring. Low and behold, most of the front and back yard had as little as 1/2 an inch to 1.5 inches bark coverage. The areas I'd hit with bags as I weeded were barely pushing 2 inches, which means they too were initially VERY thin. I then photo'd the explosion of overgrowth and sent it to Lee's general email with a concerned message attached. Kimball replied to the message, but he refused to acknowledge any error had been made on his part or Lees in terms of the estimated coverage vs. completed work. Ultimately, he refused to remedy the situation without charging us thousands of dollars more. We went back and forth multiple times via email, and he would not budge - not even to cover labor only to rake back, and remove the overgrowth. He also refused to connect me to a senior manager or owner - eg: a 3rd party in the company whom could objectively review the situation, stating that he was a manager and partial owner and in charge of our estimate. We were charged over $3200.00 after tax for the job. It will likely cost us thousands of additional dollars to remedy the overgrowth resultant of Lee's error, and for which they refuse to acknowledge or accept responsibility. I'm personally kinda shocked considering their reputation and long standing place in the community. We used their services for lawn mowing and occasional yard work in Seattle many years ago without issue. My how times have changed.

I chose them because of their reviews/reputation and their BBB A/A+ rating. I would definitely hire them again.
