I ended up here are few years ago as I was looking for a last minute appointment and the owner had a same day opening. The owner cut my hair and did a great job, I was very happy. Since then I've been seeing Milan - who also does a really great job. Got my hair cut and styled the same day as my office holiday party this December and the compliments were endless; to the point that people were asking specifically who cut my hair, not just which salon. I am a happy repeat customer. Staff are professional and friendly. They offer coffee/tea and cookies during your appointment which is also a nice touch.

It is an interesting salon. Not only are they often upgrading and adding to their training, they are also teaching new and upcoming stylists techniques in a working environment. Each stylist takes the time to consult with their clients to get a good idea of what they are looking for. They clearly explain what they are doing as they go along. They are very very good with customer service. If you are not happy, go back and they will fix it without attitude. They genuinely want to make it right. It is midrange in price. Not inexpensive but not crazy either. The only criticism I have (and this is for most salons) is charging for blow drying. It is in the stylists' best interest to check the cut /colour when the hair is dry. Unless it is a fancy blow dry or another unique circumstance it shouldn't be an additional cost on top of a cut and colour. Other than that, I would highly recommend Fringe.

The first thing you see as you walk in is literally dozen of various awards they have won. As some of the previous reviewers have already found out, it gets busy here and there are times when you just can't get in without an appointment. Me being a guy and wearing a straight up-and-down traditional haircut, you wouldn't think I'd need any type fancy scissors to touch it. What's the big deal, right? Well, twice I went to a random place (because I had a trip coming up and didn't bother to call in early enough and get an appointment) and I would come out looking very sub-par. So I don't take chances anymore. I really don't know why or how it happens but there is a world of difference between the haircut I get here vs other places. And now being at an age when with every birthday, there are more and more spots about that old scull of mine where the hair seems to have just given up altogether, I can still come here and walk out with something on my head that has shape and structure and still gives me a professional look.

Instead I got yellow and dark brown bumble bee highlights to the middle of my head that don't match my natural hair at all. Plus, now I've got regrowth And yes, when I calculated what i paid to your salon, i did include the generous tips i left. How you could let me leave looking the way I did (which i couldn't tell because of the lighting in your salon) is beyond me. If anyone wants to see the outcome of your work, I've uploaded the photos to my profile - so take a look. And yes, in my many years of going to hair salons, I've posted three bad reviews and yours is one. Honestly, you're the absolute worst. You should feel embarrassed but, clearly, that's not in your repertoire. ......... After growing out my grey hair for three years, while keeping it long, I decided I'd put a few DIY highlights at the front of my bangs, where the hair is still pretty dark. Dumb idea. I went for a fix, but the tone was still off, so I called Texture, where there's a really great colourist who knows how to work with grey. She wasn't available, and I was heading into two weeks of travel and client presentations, so I asked if there was anyone else there experienced at matching grey hair. I was told that Allison, the owner, was. I paid $170 for silver highlights in my bangs. Unfortunately, Allison made a mess of it, giving me big yellow streaks that didn't match my hair at all, then, as an initial attempt to correct the problem, extending it all about three inches back into my natural hair. The result was terrible, dwarfing the issue I started with. The only solution at that point was to put a demi colour on the whole thing to try and get rid of the now very large section of yellowed hair and create some semblance of a unified colour. I understand that mistakes happen. Such is life. But Allison then charged me an additional $75 for the 'fix', bringing me up to $250 for my botched bangs (not to mention the hours i spent at the salon), which still don't match. I was also told that i would now need to tone this big front section of hair, now, every few weeks to keep the yellow at bay, until it grows out - in about a year or so. A very disappointing outcome and customer service experience, all round.

Based on the promotion, I expected the total to be around $60, especially after the owner personally confirmed that the oiling, deep conditioning hair mask, shampoo, and blow dry would be included in that price. However, I ended up paying $93, largely due to unexpected charges -- including a separate fee for the hair mask -- and taxes that felt excessive. While I understand applicable taxes, the way the charges were broken down was unclear and left me feeling overcharged. The service itself was good, and the stylist was professional, but the surprise fees really took away from the overall experience. Unfortunately, this makes me hesitant to return, despite the initially promising offer. Even I didn't got senior stylist as promised on group on. I really want to give them 1/2 star
