Personally I would never hire him again, or even entertain even a quote from Don Jolly. The only time he shows up is to get money, he never checks on his workers to make sure they are doing it correct or incorrect. Honestly I'm not sure if he even knows what is correct or incorrect. I won't post the entire text exchange, but suffice it to say…read morethat I told them I was having my front yard regraded and needed two trees removed and a stomp in the front yard re-ground because the previous company didn't grind it deep enough to have the front yard re-graded. I told the technician on site on three different occasions and got confirmation from him as to the depth required for the job. He said no problem, we'll take care of it. The next day I went to check on the job and it was barely below the existing grade. When I complain they threaten to take me to small claims court and told me that they fulfilled their contract. I've had gotten two prices for the job, one from them and one from Tree West. They were virtually identical. The only difference being that they said they could do the job tomorrow so I gave it to them. I ended up calling Tree West back and paying them half again the cost of the job to complete they both knew was included from the get-go. Definitely one of those gotcha kind of contractors. Save your money and call a real professional.
