Took my son for his first shooting here. Mid day wasn't that busy. People are nice and safe.

I came to this shooting range with my family visiting from California. We came as a large Hispanic family, and from the moment we walked in, the staff treated us differently. The atmosphere immediately felt uncomfortable -- rude attitudes, judgmental looks, and bad vibes for no reason. We came there to have a good time with our family like everyone else, but instead we felt unwelcome and judged based on how we looked. Customer service should make all people feel respected regardless of race, appearance, tattoos, or background. Fix your hours and you'll get 5 stars. If you close at 8pm you close at 8pm, not "we aren't taking any shooters past 7pm". If I came in at 7:45pm that would be different but it was 7:15pm and I only take 15 mins to shoot. read more

Came here with my dad. I wanted to try out my new pistol. The 2 guys working were friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and modern. Cost: $19 per person. Came when they opened at 10am on a Monday and it wasn't busy at all. Couple old guys came and left before we finished. We'll be back! We had a great time! read more

While I'm on a roll. Agis Arms doesn't even know their own states gun laws but they claim to support the second amendment. Tried to pick up a shotgun I had shipped to them and they refused because I had a Louisiana license. They claimed that is illegal to sell ANY gun to an out of state resident which is totally false. It is illegal to sell a HANDGUN to an out of state resident but not a LONG GUN (rifle or shotgun). How can you be an arms dealer and not even know your own gun laws? I have bought a few rifles in Texas with a Louisiana license. By far the most incompetent bunch of people I have ever dealt with. Stay away from these people. read more

Well lets just say I'm convinced some people have nothing better to do at shooting ranges than to heckle other shooters once their time or ammo is up or if they see them running drills other than bill or failure drills, or magazine dumps. Called Agis Arms and asked if they were an FFL and if I could ship a firearms to Montana for work to be done. They told me YES we can come on in. When I arrived all employees were sitting eating Chinese takeout. None wore uniforms that indicated they worked there. When I asked if I could ship the firearm they told me they don't do that and they could only find out if they could tomorrow. I went down the street a quarter mile to primary arms who gave me excellent customer service and shipped my firearm. read more

They flagged me for jamming there rental gun (Sig P365) and stated that I used a different ammo (steel cased) other than what they sold (brass cased) to me at the time of the rental. First of all, I did not know since I was not made aware of and there is nothing written nor signs or warnings. And to me at least, was not my fault that their rental gun jammed. I'm not new to guns nor to shooting. I did not do anything intentionally to jam it and its the same ammo caliber that I used except its steel cased (mostly type of ammo case available during Covid time). Secondly, they threatened me (verbally) in a really bad way after I came back that if I used steel cased ammos again, they will ban me for life (Do they expect me to come back after this?). And after that, they started putting signs that only brassed case ammos are to be used in their range. I have never experienced this with others. So to other customers, be aware that this can happen and they can do this to you. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! Agis Arms looks like a nice place from the outside but is mismanaged. I have been repeatedly turned away for seemingly no reason. One time it was my shoes (I was wearing closed toed gym shoes) and another time I was turned away because my "ghetto ass music" was too loud pulling into the parking lot. I am positive this has to do with the color of my skin because of their comment and this sort of thing has never happened with the frequented black employee. I will not be returning. read more

Store has one or two staff members that aren't aware of how rude and aggressive they are and how it creates a hostile environment towards the customer. Need proper customer service training, social awareness, and to hold themselves accountable. Unfortunately, one or two bad apples can ruin everything. Do better!!! read more

I came here about once a week for a while. last two times though, the bald bozo who's behind the counter is god awful. his attitude is the worst. he was rude the time I came before and was complaining about his owner. this time I came 3 minutes after last shoot because of traffic and the guy with black curly hair was dismissive, complained about his pay and said he doesn't get paid after 8 to clean up. we explained and he dismissed us again with a nasty smirk on his face. the staff here is trash. it's a good place to shoot, but if you're expecting anyone to be nice behind the counter forget it. I won't be coming back here although with the attitude of the staff it seems that's what they want. this is how businesses fail, continued mistreatment to continued customers. read more

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend that anyone give Agis Arms their patronage. The standards of safety at this range are insufficient for me to ever want to return. Today's experience was the second time I've seen problematic conduct, and I will not afford the opportunity for a third. Here's what transpired today: As I was packing up (at around 1 PM), a couple of men 4 lanes down were doing the same. The problem was that, instead of casing his firearm at the bench, this person proceeds to flag the entire firing line with an AR pattern pistol, as he goes to case it up by the bench at the back wall. So why am I holding the range accountable for the actions of a customer? 2 reasons: 1) My wife, who was waiting in the lobby, watched the entire event unfold on the very prominently displayed CCTV screens while the 2 staff members that weren't currently helping customers appeared to be more engrossed in whatever entertainment was on another one of the screens. She had no formal training besides the state carry permit class, and it was immediately evident to her that there was an issue. 2) When I brought this to the attention of the staff, there was no urgency and, based on tone & body language, didn't appear to be treated as a serious offense. There was at least one other AR patterned pistol that I saw allowed to enter & leave the range uncased. Additionally, a shooter was permitted on the firing line despite wearing flip-flops, which is another serious safety hazard. I've also seen several employees allowed to carry in SERPA holsters, which have a documented history of safety issues so severe that they're banned from multiple federal & private sector training academies. The initial issue from several months ago was when I witnessed several shooters, including STAFF, uncasing & handling guns behind the firing line. At this point, it's enough of a pattern that I feel people need to be made aware. This isn't trivial stuff, and people can easily get hurt. Don't know how it is on the weekends but the employee said it's busy ! I had a great chill time shooting my new toy. Pow-Pow-Pow!!! The team here is rock solid and here's why. It begins at the door, although Firearms shops and Range, they greet better than some of the restaurants, I have visited. Customer service is on point for me. They ensure that you are fully prepared before entering the range, they politely check on you while on the range, they provide pointers, tips and do it with ease, as if they enjoy their jobs. This will definitely be my range of choice. They also have ladies night, I believe on Wednesday and couples night on Tuesday, don't hold me to the dates, please inquire when you get there. I have been shooting there before their grand opening. I love the staff, they are knowledgeable and courteous. They are very reasonable and the facility is cutting edge. The have moving targets that law enforcement trains and so can you. There's also games that are fun to play. read more

What a fun place!! Everyone was so respectful, felt very safe. Space is very clean, monitors of every lane on video TV for people waiting. For targets, it's all paper, but cool ones like battle ship, zombies and things. We brought our own guns but rentals are super fairly priced. Ear and eye protection was free borrow! It's busy on Saturday! The guy said they have more business on Saturdays compared to all weekdays combined! Some come on weekday if you don't like wait and crowds. read more

This was my first time at a gun range so I didn't know what to expect but Dillan made me and my group feel at ease. Considering I have little to no experience shooting a gun, he took the time to show me the basics and made sure I felt comfortable. Comfortable enough to where I decided to purchase my first firearm! With his help, I chose the glock 43x. Thanks Dillan! As far as the facility goes, it looks fairly new and clean. They have light snacks and drinks available for purchase. My husband and I have been several times. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Tony was our instructor the first time and he was pretty amazing. I have never been to a gun range before and he took the time to explain the guns to me and even took us into the classroom for a mini lesson. I felt much better practicing after that. The second time was just as amazing. Dillon assisted us (me) this time. Even to coming out on the range and correcting my hand placement and stance. Spencer has helped us a few times and he falls into the same category as the others. All the other staff I haven't mentioned by name are helpful and pleasant as well. I was going here for a few months, and completely loved coming back and shooting, it's a very nice range! But due to the fact that they're selling personal reloaded ammo in name brand boxes really has me thinking otherwise. To be clear, I'm not opposed to using and buying reloaded bullets, I understand the severity of the shortage going on, but I paid almost $60 for 50 rounds of RR Tacticle bullets, and about 10 of them were duds... Went home and checked out the box of ammo I purchased from the range, and the bullet casings were all different. Same with the BAGS of .9 mm ammo, being sold in plastic sandwich bags. When asked why they're being given to us that way, the guy at the front counter responded with, "we just don't want people to know where we purchase our ammo from." Again, nice range to shoot at, but I wouldn't purchase ammo from them. Very sketchy and disappointing. read more

After the acquisition of a new baby, I had to give her a go, but we are in code red due to COVID 19 and a am a BIT of a germaphobe so where to test her out. Enter Agis Arm! It appears to be a new facility and housed some state of the art equipment, such as a touch pad to adjust your target and a ventilation system that ACTUALLY did a good job of ventilating the area. It houses about 16 lanes that are divided by concrete. They offer discounts to ladies on Monday nights, but the standard rate is $18/hr. You are only allowed to use brass casing, so be mindful of the ammo you purchase before you go. They also sell ammo on site. I have visited some pretty solid ranges, but this is one of the best I have gone to so far. There are a couple others I want to try before I pick one to call home. After driving about 30 mins we arrived at 7:04 (inside) and we were turned away because we would not be able to use the full hour. We assured them we only wanted to practice about 30 mins. They would absolutely not allow it, stating the owner is continually watching and this is his policy. They said the website reflects this which is not accurate. The range master can monitor all shooters at once, rather than walking the line. Divider walls every few lanes increase safety as well. Good lighting for older shooters like myself. State-of-the-art target placement/retrieval system. Their lane fee is slightly higher than some ranges; but the staff are nice young people, not grouchy, old "Know-it-all's" like some places.
