So excited to post this review! For background, I moved here after 10 years in San Diego where I…read morehad a regular local business that I purchased my mattress, pillows, etc from. I was searching for a business that specialized in natural and organic materials... man did I luck out! I'm in the Navy and needless to say, the racks aren't always the most comfortable parts of your daily routine. I've purchased "rack fitted" toppers, the do it yourself cut the topper, etc. None of them ever satisfied. I wanted my next deployment to be as close to sleeping on my latex mattress at home as possible. Insert the "la noodle" toppers. They have two main models for this, one tufted and the other almost in cylindrical batting. I went with the later but both are high quality. The noodles do have a free flow, which is EXACTLY what I needed. Because the racks are narrower than a traditional twin, I needed something that I could mold to fit perfectly. Was it a little pricier than your run of the mill topper, absolutely... was it worth it... WITHOUT A DOUBT! The day I bought it I threw it on top of my mattress at home to test it out. I like that it still allows my mattress to provide the support while the noodles provide a cushion embrace. It goes without saying, this deployment I'll be rocking extreme comfort! I also love they have a variety of pillows. My buckwheat pillows are still in amazing shape but I know when they start to give I'll check theirs out. They also sell latex and organic fills on those. Organic bedding as well, but I'm kind of obsessed with my current bedding line and can't stray haha. Think I'll be treating myself to a new mattress shortly and cozy pure will be my absolute one stop shopping for this! As for customer service, I was super impressed by the personable nature of the sleep advisor (I believe her name was Susan). See a few negative reviews on here... ignore them and check them out for yourself! Lovely show room and love that it's local! You won't get the quality or customer care buying such important purchases from online companies, that's for sure. Thank you again for inventing the perfect topper, I'll be spreading the word!

It's an older industrial building and the show room is smaller than most but it's made for simple shopping. There's 3 options to choose for your mattress; soft, medium or firm. You can have one side of the mattress made for your preference and the other your partner's preference. No more compromising lol. But what made me decided to buy from them is the organic materials and NO off gassing from toxic materials!! I bought a mattress previously from another mattress chain, and the off gassing was so bad it made me sick and triggered my sinus/headache. This is what made me choose Cozy Pure. I had no issues with my migraines sleeping in this mattress from day 1. There is a "break in" period and it took about 2 weeks to get the mattress to feel good to me. So keep that in mind. They do have sales advertised on their website as they also sale pillows, mattress, covers and blankets.

Goldilocks. Of the…read morethree furniture stores in downtown Suffolk, Brandon house had the best value. A leather recliner was not as easy to find as expected. One store had cloth and faux leather at lower prices but the durability and quality didn't seem worth the lower prices. Another store had cloth, faux leather, and real leather. Once again, the quality and durability didn't seem worth it. Their leather models were good but too expensive. I felt like Goldilocks in Brandon House, the recliner fit me and my wallet just right. Staff. The staff at all three stores seemed as friendly and capable as the others. Not a difference here as far as I can tell, other than Brandon house patriarch was often in the store. Price. After determining the recliner I wanted I called the next nearest dealer in richmond. It was the same price. The price at Brandon house was not negotiable. It was already discounted off MSRP and they did not budge. Perhaps there is more selection at the big box stores on "furniture row" of Virginia Beach. Maybe. But I'm content supporting my local furniture store in downtown Suffolk.

I stumbled upon TLA's website and found just what I was looking for (and a lot more) -- a 6-foot live edge mantle. Unfortunately, I'm not local to the Hampton Roads area, so I debated whether or not the 3+ hour trek was worth it. Upon speaking with the store owner, Emmanuel, he offered to meet me halfway to deliver the item. He drove 2 hours to meet me in Charlottesville. I couldn't believe he offered to do that, but was incredibly pleased and impressed that he was willing to do so. He was very friendly and took the time to tell me about the wood, how it was treated and how to maintain it. The shelf looks incredible (as do all the other custom wood items I see on the website). Quality products, tremendous service. I definitely plan to visit the store to check out other pieces of furniture, but I'm hoping he chooses to open up a second location in southwest Virginia...otherwise it seems I'm going to be spending a fortune in gas :)

The owner Manuel was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and he took the time to go over every piece of wood, where it was sourced from, how the resin was applied, etc. My wife and I ended up buying two beautiful wooden boards, along with a pink granite wine/liquor dispenser, and we'll definitely be back for more!! P.s. - they sell these beautiful Gozney wood/gas stoves that are perfect for backyard parties and making pizzas at home. HAD to include them in my review!!

They cleaned up before they left on Friday and then again on Sat. I can't say enough about them. Frank Russo was our salesman and he was also wonderful. Usually for the houses I flip, I pick a package that's in stock. There are pretty good selections. If there is a particular appliance that you are looking for, just ask and they will try to get it for you. I was able to get my appliances for way cheaper than what Best Buy was offering. Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have my brand/model. So I'm super happy about that. They also deliver and set up your appliance. The delivery guys were quick with the set up and nice. Honestly, I would not recommend this business because the unreliability of the quality of the product you receive along with the lack of help to resolve any issues. He was merely doing his job as he was trained to do, and was very polite. They have a "system". You put your sex, age, name, and email address on a screen. Then you lay on a bed that calibrates to your body to pick the "right" mattresses for you. The young man led me to a mattress to try out, which of course felt like a dream. I only wanted a twin xl, and he quoted a price of $3840. I could see this was not going to be my preferred method of picking out a mattress. I asked if I could just look around on my own and try a few in my price range. He said I'm sorry we don't allow that because you will probably get frustrated and will walk out without a mattress. I do NOT fault him for the policy, he didn't write it. I felt bad when I thanked him and left the store. I went there to try out some mattresses and if I found one I liked I was going to purchase it. This nice young man lost a sale because of a ridiculous policy he had no control over.
