I got the Pork Belly with rice dish but with the Cajun/Asian fusion twist. OMG! It was delish!!! I need to come back and try the other dishes. I also got their mango/strawberry slushy... OMG!!! BETTER than Jamba! WOW!!! Just WOW!!! Only regret I have is that I didn't take a pic of my food... next time!

It is a very unassuming place on the outside but the inside is very vibrant, fun and colorful! You can't miss it! Entrance is facing Sherman Way. We ordered 2 teriyaki Ribeye over rice, tacos, crispy chicken, 2 Vietnamese coffees, and 1 milk tea with boba. Everything we ordered was 101%! Paul, the owner, did everything from taking the orders, cooking, and payment. Superman with a great flair for the grill. I wish I had taken a picture of everything but sadly we were famished and didn't think of it at the beginning. The ribeye plate came with a side salad, cup of rice topped with crispy garlic, fried vegetable egg roll, and the star, the most flavorful sliced ribeye beautifully grilled and seasoned! Vietnamese coffee was perfectly sweetened in a sealed boba cup; same with the milk tea with boba which my niece enjoyed immensely. We were sated and full when he gave us a free Hello Kitty waffle for my other toddler niece. This is I got a pic of: a fluffy Hello Kitty waffle with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream topped with whipped cream, side of syrup, and sliced strawberry. He also gave us 2 free cups of watermelon slices and a cup of milk tea with boba. Paul is very sweet and loves little kids! We are definitely coming back here and will be highly recommending this place to everyone!!!

So I wanted to have a few friends come over with their kids on Sunday so they could play and we could watch football. I decided to hop on the grill, grab some drinks and make it a fun little day for everyone. I checked to see if my normal butcher spot was open but to my surprise it was permanently shut down. So I decided to look for a place nearby and came across Danny's Fresh Meat produce right around the corner from me. So I hop in the car and head over! It's in the same parking lot as Salsa and Beer so finding a park is always tough especially on a weekend. That parking lot is a nightmare but once you get a park it's all good. I walked in and it's a very small shop with a cashier in the front, two small isles of produce and meat in the back. It seems like it's all locals because everyone was talking to, who I assume was Danny, in the back working with the guys cutting up the meat. When it came to my turn, I told him I'd never been here so he explained what they do, how they cut the meat, the type of meats they have and that he's been there for 30 years! He is an extremely nice and helpful Armenian guy who has completely won me over. There are a few local places I love supporting in my community and he'll definitely be one of them. The place was very clean and organized. There wasn't a lot of produce but just enough to get your essentials. As for the meat, I picked up a pound and a half of beef loin tenderloin steak at $25.99 a pound and two pounds of marinated chicken breast cut in half's. He told me the steak would melt in my mouth and he told no lies!! The steak was so tender and everyone was asking where I got it from. He made sure to let me know he can slice it up any which way I needed it to be. Overall, Danny's is the perfect spot to grab some local produce and meat if you want to support your local businesses. It always feels good helping out people in your community. Beware of the parking though. 5 out of 5 Afros OOOOO

This place has such a real authentic Argentinian vibe that every visit feels warm!…read more They have so many Argentine products, amazing traditional desserts, and of course famous Argentine wine. But honestly, we keep coming back mainly for the meat. Their parrilla is LOVE. Perfect for sharing with 3-4 people, incredibly flavorful and always satisfying. And the desserts... they're so cozy and delicious, they honestly taste like something my grandma would bake for me :) Warm, homemade and impossible to resist. Another huge plus is the pricing, very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. This place feels authentic in the best possible way. One of our absolute favorite spots whenever we're craving real Argentine food in LA.

Our dining experience at Mercado Buenos Aires was pretty good from start to finish. As a welcoming…read morestarter, we were served warm, crusty French bread accompanied by their flavorful chimichurri sauce. The bread was fresh and perfectly complemented the bright, herbaceous chimichurri. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Thursday daily special, Merluza de Pappilletto, tenderly baked white fish sitting on a layered bed of potatoes and spinach, which was beautifully prepared and packed with delicate flavors and served with a lemon caper cream sauce on the side. Delicious! We also ordered the Churrasco de Lomo, grilled filet mignon steak topped with chimichurri butter. The menu specified "Two 6 oz. filet mignon steaks" so we were confused that the plate arrived with only one piece of meat. It does specify an option to get a 12 oz filet for $30 or a 6 oz for $17. Maybe that's what they meant about "two"? Who knows....Although the steak was tender & flavorful, it wasn't cooked medium rare as we requested rather it was more on the well-done side. However, the chimichurri butter that topped it added a rich and delicious finishing touch. The side dishes were equally impressive. The Arroz Azafrán, a paella-style rice, was fragrant, flavorful, and a perfect accompaniment to both entrées. The Crema de Espinaca featured creamy spinach with Parmesan that was rich, comforting, and wonderfully balanced. To finish the meal, we shared the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. It was light, creamy, and not overly sweet, with just the right amount of coffee flavor. I think there can be improvements to be made on their service. There was only one wait staff taking care of the whole restaurant so there were moments of lengthy wait times, totally not his fault. They need to hire at least one more person to help out. Also take note of the bill, they automatically add a 3% "Kitchen" gratuity which I've never seen before so you might want to take this into consideration when applying the tip. The food & presentation was great overall. Mercado Buenos Aires delivers authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a warm atmosphere that would want me to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional Argentine dining experience.
