Free parking and access to restaurants and shopping. I arrived really late because of flight delays. I was able to walk through the closed mall to the hotel but couldn't access the hotel without a key. I had to lug all of my things back through the garage a d outside to the front street entrance. My bed was comfy but it was hard to regulate the room temp and the hallways were like zero degrees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pretty good stay for the price and location.

They opened the doors and greeted us upon entry and exit. The entrance had a nice and spacious foyer. A flight of stairs led to the venue of the event. Check in was a breeze. My favorite cocktail bites for the evening were the coconut crusted shrimp with plum sauce as well as the mini lump crabcakes with aioli. They paired well with the glass of bubbly. Took a variety of nibbles that was provided from crackers to cheese to berries to sandwiches. They were ok. Before leaving, we had some calming herbal tea with a squeeze of lemon wedge. They gave us iced tea in to go cups for the road.

I don't know anything about this part of town. The trip down here had mild "first few moments of an episode of Criminal Minds" vibes as the uber driver was taking deserted, dark back alleys through heavily industrial and/or abandoned industrial areas. I was not sure if I was going to find myself carved into pieces and safely stowed in his freezer in what I imagined what would not be a very nice apartment at all or what. But then the abandoned warehouse rows finally parted and then you could see the super upscale looking joint kind of sticking out off in the distance with the bright glam lights and the valet boys hustling about the lot. I don't like large crowds, but if I had to be a part of a large crowd again I would do so in the handsome event space within. It is part industrial Brooklyn nightclub vibes with the wide open spaces and reverberatory noise, but part family bat mitzvah vibes that you could bring everyone and really make it family style for the whole evening.
