Since the ceremony and reception were held in the same room, the space had to be flipped during cocktail hour. We were a little worried our guests would notice or that it might be disruptive, but not a single person mentioned it. The transition was completely seamless, which is a huge testament to Vikki and her amazing staff. We worked with Vikki throughout the planning process, and she was incredible. She was responsive, organized, and present every step of the way. She coordinated with all of our vendors, kept everything running smoothly, and was there in person on the wedding day, which made such a difference. I had mentioned a few small personal touches I wanted set up, and without hesitation, she took care of every one of them herself. When we returned to pick up our belongings, everything had been packed neatly and carefully, which was such a thoughtful touch. We toured several other restaurant venues while planning our wedding, and at one venue we were told the coordinator would help us plan but wouldn't actually be there on the wedding day. Now two high end restaurants on campus but you have to take out loans to eat there--certainly not comfort food places for a marina. Parking is impossible on weekends. Gas dock up and running manned by inexperienced teens. We were told that if a boater makes a complaint about any of these items he is told "that if you don't like it here, go somewhere else!!! Could make one cry since the local is magnificent. Obvious major management shortfalls.
