It's such a large park with so many pokestops and gyms. There's plenty of walking space and places to sit and take a breather. The pavements and walkways are really well kept and clear, and the benches and tables are relatively clean. There's also a skatepark attached to the park if you're interested in skating! It's a perfect little park for weekends and day trips with friends and family.

The big dog park is on a bit of a hill, so there's a small incline where one could lose sight of their pup briefly if not careful, but it's not a big deal. Great place for kids to get into mischief, whatever that may be these days. There's plenty of room…read morefor walking, hiking, hiding, running, throwing the ball, or just sitting and taking in the sounds of children laughing as they play. Dogs also love the area. On the south end of the park is a hill where a bunch of ground squirrels live. Chasing these will definitely tire one out. I'm exhausted after only a few minutes. I wish I had a dog to share in the fun. Those little squirrels are fast! Especially the ones with foaming mouths. Picnic tables and benches are plentiful. Most are shaded. My favorite are the benches on top of the hill. You can get a beautiful view of the surrounding area and further on to the San Bernardino mountains, which at present time are snowcapped. If you enjoy bird watching, you'll see a nice variety. Raven, Hawk, sparrow, robbin, and humming. A flock of geese flew over as I was writing this. Behind the park are rocky hills for the kids to explore. I didn't climb them as I was too tired from chasing the squirrels. Plus, I wasn't feeling too good after one of the foamy ones bit me. As a mom looking for decent splash pads this summer I felt an obligation to share this more recent…read morereview. This park is nice because the splash pad and playground is tucked away behind the Community Center so it's not exposed or near the busy street. We did park in the lot in front of the community center and walk up and back towards the park area, which is not very far but a wagon or stroller are helpful if you have little ones and a lot to carry. The splash pad was in great shape and everything worked fine. The playground was also in good shape and there were a lot of fun parts to it like the fire truck, a seesaw, swings, etc. There were a good amount of covered picnic tables in between both the playground and splash pad area for parents to keep an eye on their kids at either location. I didn't visit the restrooms myself but my sister did and said they were decent. The ice cream vendors walk through every now and then and take cash or Zelle in case you want to grab a treat. I didn't get a lot of photos when we went so I will add some after our next visit

The only downside is there's a group of grown men who hang out in the parking lot literally every evening I have been there that drink and smoke their stuff. It makes it pretty uncomfortable every time I pass and I feel them staring. Not sure how that's even allowed considering children are always there.
