During the closing process of our rental home we hired L&L to install a drain pipe from the home to…read morethe street. Company came highly recommended by a general contractor (GC)we both know. The bid was for the drain line and 3 yards of topsoil at a cost of $2300 plus tax. They were a no show on the day they said they would be there. The following Monday they performed the work but left it incomplete.(They let a ditch approx. 9"W x 6" D x 8' long at the end of the open pipe. No screen to keep debris or critters out. I called the GC and he remedied the issue by purchasing gravel and filling the ditch at his own cost. I received a bill that was $200 more than the estimate. GC was present at the quote. I called Lucio and he said he quoted me the $2500 and I agreed to the ditch. No one would of agreed to the ditch bc it is in an area used for parking vehicles. The vehicles would have to back out or drive into the ditch to go forward. Again, no one would of agreed to this. Lucio agreed to go with the original quote for payment. In my honest opinion Lucio knew the work needed to be done and used that info to do a fast incomplete job and jack up the price $200. I don't recommend using L&L for services. If you have to get everything in writing before you start the work.

They arrived as schedule with regular updates the day. I didn't need to be on-site which made scheduling easier. I was able o see their 3 employees work and they were both efficient and safe- wearing harnesses. They worked quickly to remove the moss and treated the roof. I would definitely recommend. They are a moss removing company, so I didn't expect them to clean the debris from gutters or windows or deck below. Just be sure to plan on doing that yourself or hiring follow on support.

They needed their trailer to haul the debris (there was so much!) and asked if they could leave it for one day and come get it tomorrow. I agreed. They actually ended up cleaning it up later that day and my walkway and drive were cleaner than it was before they started. Ended up leaving it because it "never should have been quoted at 14 feet and that guy was fired" Ask for a price adjustment due to 2' shorter. Mean office girl said I was already getting a deal, so no discount. Mysteriously, they ended up discounting $180. Had to make adjustments on install day. Left and returned and never checked out with me. I was just there waiting. Makes me wonder what else they didn't disclose. I recommend going somewhere else.

We're totally pleased with the results. But beyond that the workers were very pleasant to work with and they showed everyday as scheduled and adjusted their schedule when we needed a week off to take care of a personal matter.
