Recently I learned of an additional service they provide, cleaning stone tiled floors. Josh did a fantastic job! We recently hired them to clean a rental property that had urine in the carpets. Josh and Jim assured me that they could 100% get the smell out. After Josh was unable to do so he came back out to the property and wanted to charge an additional $900 for the incomplete. Josh was rude, argumentative, and disrespectful. As a result, we will no longer engage Swanson for any personal or rental properties as he has lost all trust. I strongly discourage using him due to his lack of accountability.

This is going to be long so bear with me…read more We are under contract to buy a home in which there was a recall on the originally installed shingles. The seller was having the roof REPLACED per the warranty from the shingle manufacturer. The seller contracted 1st Colorado Roofing to do the work. After our initial property inspection was done on the home, it was found that there was a missing vent cap that needed to be replaced. I asked for proof that it was done and was given Eric's number (at 1st Colorado Roofing) to contact and ask for pics. Not only was he completely rude, he flat out told me he wasn't making a special trip for me because he was too busy. Okay fine. So I ask our AMAZING inspector to go back out and take pics with his drone to make sure the vent was done. He made time out of his busy day to stop by for 10 mins to snap some quick pics and he sent them over to me. I see that the vent cap that was missing was put on, but after I looked closer, I realized that the roof in fact WASNT completely replaced like the invoice says, they roofed AROUND the solar panels. Meaning that the faulty, old shingles were still on the roof. The permit pulled with Jefferson County said it was supposed to be a roof replacement. The black shingles are the NEW ones, the light multicolored shingles are the old ones. What's even worse is if I wasn't adamant about SEEING that the vent cap was done, we would have never known about this shoddy job. Mind you, this home is in an HOA, which I ended up calling and they said the roof needs to be consistent so this wouldn't pass community standards. In the last 24 hours, we have contacted FIVE independent roofing companies who have absolutely NO monetary interest in this house. 5/5 of them said the roof should be completely redone at this point because the integrity of the underlayment has been compromised. 1st Colorado Roofing is now saying that they will just go back and finish the rest of the roof.... First of all, the roof should have NEVER even been done like this. Now you want to basically just patch everything together? Second of all, the invoice says that they put all new vents on the house. They in fact did not. They used the old vents and spray painted them, getting spray paint on the shingles. Third of all, weren't they paid to do a full roof replacement?? We are supposed to close, be out of our existing home with 3 kids and into this new house in NINE days. Someone needs to make this right and that someone should be the roofing company who shouldn't have done a "re-roof" like this. Please spread the word!

About six years ago we needed our roof reshingled after a crazy springtime hail storm. We chose…read moreBeyond Roofing to do the job and everything went well. This year we lost some shingles during a powerful windstorm. Dan at Beyond Roofing went the extra mile to source matching shingles, since the color of our shingles had been discontinued by the manufacturer. A couple of days latter a roofer arrived with matching shingles and made the repairs efficiently and with a smile. I felt that the guys at Beyond Roofing really treated me well and when the next weather event strikes I will not hesitate to give them my business.

We went through multiple different roofing companies and got quotes from 5. Beyond Roofing was one…read moreof the most affordable. We initially picked another company being the cheapest trying to save $100. Boy was THAT a mistake. After signing a contract for that price, they inflated the cost to almost double saying it was an "error" and we needed to sign a new contract. We had to jump through hoops and retain an attorney to cancel that original contract. So you can imagine how skeptical we were when we decided to pick Beyond Roofing next. I about want to cry just thinking how lucky we got. They never raised the original price, they didn't play games, and most importantly... their work is top notch! Our house looks AMAZING. Other companies, you'll wait 2-4 weeks for material to come in, then another 2-4 weeks for the roof to be actually done. NOT with Beyond Roofing. One week! Yeup, within one week we had a signed contract and our roof done. We ended up spending additional money to re-do our decking... but it was our choice. What we suggest to people is do your research. Read the reviews. If they're off by a couple hundred dollars, go with Beyond Roofing. We regret not doing that from the start because it could've saved us 2 months of battling with another company who was shady, shady, shady! Todd inspected our roof and Dan did our contract. Both were super responsive and would get back to us with any questions we had (which were a lot).

I had an absolutely A+ experience using Steve Rechsteiner to remodel our shower and I can't wait to…read morerave about it! From our very first phone call that he answered while he was walking his dogs, to his last drop-in to do a quality-check on the finished state of the shower, Steve gave us that white-glove, red-carpet treatment that you feel like you deserve when you're spending thousands on something (right?!) The impeccable quality of work speaks for itself in the photos, but it's the *customer service* that really makes a difference in my opinion. During the entire process, I felt like I was Steve's most valued customer. I proposed a Thanksgiving deadline that Steve made look like a piece-of-cake for him to handle, even though I know his workers, the plumber Henry (KMG Heating & Plumbing), his glass/measuring guys, and even his two young boys who dropped off the tiles worked hard to get it done in time for Thanksgiving. Steve was also incredibly considerate of my time and space. A wet saw had to be stored in my garage overnight while they were still working on the tiles for the shower. They kept to their word and their schedule, and the saw was only in my garage for one night as promised. Also, all walkways and carpeted areas were covered during the course of the job, so nothing got dirty or stained. Steve's workers Kyle and Daniel were at my house at 7:30 every morning during the job, and I appreciated that they were always right on time. They even went above and beyond more than once by doing things like taking down an old smoke alarm for me and replacing it with another one that I had. Also, they brought some white paint and patched up any areas that maybe got dirty or chipped during the remodel. I really appreciated that they brought their own paint for that, since I didn't have any in my garage. (Wish my window installers did that). And another fun thing, Steve brought over Domino's pizza for Kyle and Daniel one of the days and they got a whole pizza for me and my wife as well! It made me happy to see that Steve takes good care of his employees like that as well. The shower remodel itself took about 4 days, and as you can see from the pictures it turned out absolutely fantastic. The grout work, the niche, the fixtures, the hinge glass door, the new light -- everything turned out perfect. There are no defects of any kind in the workmanship. It really refreshes the whole look of the bathroom, and we're glad we waited a few extra weeks for the custom hinged glass door instead of a stock sliding glass door. There were no surprises in the invoice either when compared to the original estimate. Everything was priced fairly and accurately. We've been using the shower for weeks and everything works properly and drains well. I'm so glad we used Steve for our shower remodel and we already can't wait to use him again for our kitchen counter-top and other remodels in the future!
