Honestly, I just told her to do what she thinks will work with the situation, and gave her free rein to make it work. She did, and it is perfect. There was pain - obviously - but not near as bad as I thought it would be. She's gentle and takes care to make sure you are good! That was 2 years ago, and my piercing is still amazing. There were never any problems, infections, nothing! It was perfect from day one. Heading back next weekend to get a few more done from her. I will NEVER use another piercer, and my daughter has even been after I told her of my experience, and she won't either! Even if it's a bit of a drive, I can NOT recommend this studio enough.

When he pierced my septum, it took about ten seconds long enough for him to say "oops" while the needle was still going through. That made me really uncomfortable. He didn't check my anatomy or even feel for my sweet spot he just clamped it and pushed the needle through. I'm honestly lucky my cartilage wasn't pierced, since he didn't check. From what I've learned, a septum piercing should never take that long, and the placement should always be checked first. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone please find a professional who takes the time to do it safely.
