I've been to a couple of techs and when I read that they used a special glue, I was surprised because I had never heard of it. When we started, she got frustrated and told me that my eye kept twitching. I told her it was because I felt a burning sensation and also felt like the tape was poking my eye. She offered the sensitive glue which i agreed to but I feel like she got really upset based on her tone. She asked me if I had drunk coffee, which I had. In the past, it never became an issue so serious. She kept claiming, in a slightly rude tone, that I felt burning because my eye kept twitching, but she never tried to fully tape my eye shut. The entire time, I felt burning and discomfort in my left eye, and every time she moved my lashes around, it hurt. I have never had that happen before, so I was really scared that it might lead to an infection or something. This morning, I woke up with the bottom of my eye red and my eyes still feeling a bit irritated. Right now, I regret getting them done there, and I'm hoping it's not something serious like an infection.

I have gone to other places to get my lashes done and sometimes within a few days they fall off but not here, Alex uses great glue that makes them last for almost a month especially with my busy lifestyle and I am able to wash my face normally and don't have to be super gentle when I shower. For Christmas I took my mom and sister here for a head spa. The Head Spas are all the rage now. I…read morewent to a competitor in Orange County before coming here. The one I went to was a head spa, but a Chinese one. This one is Japanese and has the same features as what I have been reading about in Japan. So they start out with a scalp review, showing you how bad your scalp is. Like last time, I had a lot of buildup. I was offered more treatment for dandruff, dry scalp and didn't take the upsell for more treatment. Then I'm led into a dim room and offered a chair. They add a protective layer so I don't get wet, and cover my in a soft blanket and an eye mask. The process of washing my hair with various water and products was similar as the other head spa, but here my scalp was focused on 90%, whereas the Chinese one did a facial more than my scalp. After the head spa, I paid extra for them to dry my hair. I don't think it was worth the $45 but I wanted to pamper my mom so I splurged. They said they offer hair dryers so I guess you could DIY. 3 head spa with an added blow out came to $495. Tip was paid in cash. My mother commented that her hair felt so soft and luxurious. That's worth the money right there.
