Tori is amazing! She was very accommodating and fit me in right away. My lashes are beautiful and I will absolutely be back for my fills. I really appreciated her detailed consultation. My volume lashes looks so natural....I have been receiving several compliments The first picture was my before..... The second picture is after Tori's magical touch
Had a great experience will definitely come back Eyebrows shaped and lash lift done. Love the decorations and is very clean and comfortable nice view
This was my first eyelash procedure ever. Tori was very helpful and straightforward with what I needed. The space she has is so relaxing that I even fell asleep in the process :) I had an eyelash lift and tint. I have medium length eyelashes. It's subtle and I'll do extensions next time for a fuller look. 2/10 came back for an extension. I had medium length silk and it looks so pretty very happy with it
Tori is very professional, I love how she micro bladed my eyebrow. It only took an hour to micro blade both of my brows, and they looked amazing. Come and see her work, you won't regret it!
I drove down from Santa Barbara to see Tori. There was an error with my appointment, but Tori was very accommodating and came in on her day off to see me. She is professional and committed to her clients. Tori is extremely knowledgable in her field and is honest about what will look best for each individual. She was informative and instructed me on how to properly care for my eyelashes afterward. I had a lash lift and tint and I loved the results. My lashes look incredible and I no longer have to worry about curling them or applying mascara. The other work that she does looks amazing as well. She is very detail oriented and a perfectionist at what she does. I highly recommend her to anyone and will continue driving down to see her.
Can't wait to get my face dermaplaned and my eyebrows cleaned up. Tori is the best! Next will be lashes
Tori was great. Very serene location, clean atmosphere and great service. It took a good 2.5 hours, but only because she took her time and was very detail oriented. I was able to take my kids with me as they sat in the patio and waited. The only hiccup was yelps fault. Originally had an appointment for Sunday and they did not confirm with her, so she made it work an got me in today.
I went to Tori to get my eyelashes dyed so I didn't have to wear makeup on my eyes. She told me that she could do my eyebrows too. I never thought of this but my hair is so blonde that you can hardly see them. Then she told me about this most awesome think called derma plane and it takes off all the deadskin off your face and the blonde peach fuzz I have as well. After she was done my skin looked and felt amazing and I actually had eyebrows! I had no idea this was even a thing and I love it. I don't have to wear makeup and my skin looks like I am 5 yrs younger and brighter. Happy Birthday to me!
My experience with Tori at Eye Makeovers was so amazing that it inspired me to write my first yelp review. She has a gorgeously decorated studio that has an ocean view in Hermosa. She offers a drink when you get there and makes you feel very comfortable. Her passion for her craft comes across as genuine and professional. You can really tell she's put her heart and soul into her work . I have long been wanting permanent eyebrows but have been very hesitant for fear that they would look fake. It was her consultation that really sold me on the procedure. She walked me through all of my options and creatively suggested certain tones for my skin. I've had them a few months and I'm absolutely in love with them. I can't believe I waited so long to try it. It has minimized my daily makeup routine. The only criteria I gave Tori was that I look beautiful when I come out of the water. I feel like the permanent eyebrows to just that. I was so impressed that I added a full set of gorgeous lash extensions to polish off my look.
I love love love Tori! She was so fantastic during my visit. The space is gorgeous and chic. Everything is so neat and clean. We walked me through all of the steps and options for my lashes before beginning. I felt completely at ease. Once we started, it was pure Zen! I was able to relax and get a 2 hour nap in while she worked on making me gorg lol. When we were done, I was beyond ecstatic. MY LASHES LOOK AMAZING! Completely natural. I can't thank her enough! This wonderland of beauty comes highly recommended! Thank you again Tori! Yonni
Before and after picture . I'm so happy I found this place , Amazing service tori took the time to make me feel comfortable through the service , she really cares for her clients and provides the best quality of service . Extremely happy with my service & eyelash lift look . Definitely will be back here & recommend this place .
Just got my first lash extension by Tori and I LOVE them! I posted a photo as well of my before and after shot. Tori was great at explaining every detail of different types of lashes and styles. Who knew there were so many options! It was so exciting to pick out my lashes. She really has great knowledge to help you figure out what will work best for you and your budget, as there is a range (in case you didn't know). She has a beautiful set up that is very private and quiet. She takes great pride in her work and is very detailed to make sure every lash is on properly and curled to make your eyes look beautiful. You will also receive brushes to care for your lashes and instructions. I found her on yelp and not through a referral . I can honestly say all of the positive yelp reviewers are absolutely correct about how great Tori is. I'm planning to return to get my fills and getting Tattoo eyeliner consult. Loving the idea of not having to put make up on daily. My husband and daughter have told me that I my lashes look "BEAUTIFUL!"
I've been going to Tori for two months now, and she is so sweet and wonderful! I was new to lash extensions before, and she does an incredible job. I get so many compliments! She makes you feel comfortable, is incredibly client-centered and listens to what you want. She's extremely knowledgable and teaches you along the way. Tori now does my brows and lashes and I won't go to anyone else. I currently get lash extensions and microderm on my brows. I'm looking forward to getting tint on my bottom lashes. See photos for her work!
I have straight eyelashes. A little straight and down actually. I have always admired everyone else's curled eyelashes. I looked into eyelash extensions, but stumped upon lash lift, and found Tori in Yelp! The process is a little long, about an hour. She takes cash only. There's a convenience store a block away from her that has an ATM if you forget cash! Be sure to get directions for when you arrive. It's a bit tricky to find her place. She says the lash could stay curled for up to 12 weeks depending on what you do to them. Mine only looked good for a month max. The second month, most lashes straightened out, while a few stayed curled. By the end of the second month, all my lashes were straight again. I don't wear much makeup (only eyeliner) on a day-to-day basis. I wear mascara only on special occasions, which was 3 times during the those two months. I never wear fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why mine didn't last as long, but it was nice while it lasted. It's a little expensive for my lashes to look good for only a month. I see why people do it if they curl their eyelashes everyday. It definitely saves a lot of time. It was definitely nice to have, and I might do it again for another special occasion. read more

My very first lash lift and it was such a success!! So fast, easy, and relaxing!! My eyelashes have always been completely straight and even with curling and mascara, they'd fall quickly during the day. Tori did such an amazing job and I can't even believe how natural they look. Tori is amazing! I had my lashes done and I'm in love with them! She uses the best lashes(not synthetic) so they have a more natural look to them. I also loved that she educates you on the whole process. She's attentive and a pleasure to talk to. She also shaped my brows and i must say she listened and didn't take too much off so I was very pleased with the results!! She does call outs if needed. Highly recommend!! I just recently had soft permanent eyeliner done by Tori on top lid and I couldn't be happier with my decision to get it done!! The soft liner gives it that pop that I'm always trying to achieve. The spaces between the eyelashes are hard to get to so this procedure is perfect for those days I just want to put mascara on or avoiding waking up without bare looking eyes. Also Tori put numbing gel which made the process more comfortable. The swelling was 3 days and it heals between 7-10 days. I can't wait to see how it looks combined with eyelash extensions! read more

I've always been envious of girls with big beautiful natural looking lashes with lash extensions, but afraid to take the plunge myself. I've heard stories online and from friends on lash extensions and how they ruined their natural lashes or resulted in eye infections so you can understand my trepidation. I finally decided to pull the trigger for my upcoming wedding. I used Yelp to help find a lash artist who has only mostly 5 star reviews in the HB area. I researched a whole bunch of businesses and Tori by far was one of the most impressive. After reading through other testimonies and seeing the pictures, I was convinced to try Tori out. My experience started out rocky as I made my appointment online via Yelp but apparently, this was a new feature that Tori was not aware of and thus my appointment was not reserved - but I never received a notice. Normally this would just be merely annoying but because I needed to have my lashes done asap since I was flying out for my wedding in a few days, I was extremely agitated at the booking process. Thankfully, Tori was more than flexible and was able to get me in by coming in earlier than her normal open hours. This is the first observation that reflected Tori's professionalism and commitment to meet client's expectations. Her office is very clean and overlooks the Redondo beaches. During the entire lash process, Tori was warm and made me feel comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained each different kinds of lashes and what would work best for me. Tori also explained how to care and maintain your lashes, which is something I don't think many other lash artists bother to do. This is the second observation of Tori's professionalism. Tori is also painstakingly detailed and thorough. My process took over 3 hours because I wasn't comfortable with the first look and she spent the extra time to fix it. The end results were amazing - I absolutely loved how my lashes look and I appreciate Tori taking the time to make sure I was happy with it. She even added in a dermaplane to get me ready for my wedding! While 3+ hours was very long, now that she knows my preference, I'm sure the fill-in sessions will be much faster. I know I made the right choice when my friends at my wedding told me over and over again how beautiful my lashes look. I love how I can wake up and look like I'm already made up - no other eye make up necessary, which cut down on so much time. The only thing is that I'm now addicted to the lashes and not sure how I can stop doing them! Thanks Tori for your patience and expertise! I will come back soon! read more

I made an appointment with Tori prior to a surf trip to Central America- although they won't last as long- lash extensions make traveling in heavy humidity & in and out of water so much better. I booked an appointment on a Sunday, but through a fault of yelp- 3rd party booking system, Tori was double booked. She was super sweet, apologetic, and accommodating to make up for the mistake. She moved some clients around and stayed later than usual just to get me in. During the appointment Tori was kind, thorough and very detail oriented. You may end up staying longer than you planned, but that is only because she is a perfectionist and wants you to get what you paid for. Outside of being wonderful at lashes, Tori has a wealth of other beauty related skills and is simply a wonderful human. Through our conversations I learned she volunteers for the American Cancer Society and brings some really meaningful and empowering help to people in need. My lashes turned out just as i wanted- natural looking, not distracting or too glam. I will definitely go to her again. read more

I have straight eyelashes but I love a good curl so I've been trying lash lifts for the past year from a few different places. So far, Eye Makeovers Etc. lasts the longest even though it's the most expensive. I'd generally pay $50 for my lifts however they would never last as long and they would not be as curled so it's definitely worth the higher cost. Tips: Book with her in advance since her calendar app gets confusing PLUS her schedule gets booked fast! Go 10 minutes early because I've heard parking can be an issue. Also, if you are like me you don't carry cash so bring your check book because she doesn't take card. read more
