The food is exceptional, and unlike anything I have ever tasted locally with unique flavours and spices in each dish. It has been owned by an Afghan family for over a decade. Even blindly ordering you will find yourself with something delicious and made with pride and care. Unlike most of the "Chinese" places they use fresh ingredients (not frozen) and proper veggies (Corn, carrots and peas in Chinese food?). Even ordering blindly (as we did at the beginning) you are guaranteed to get something yummy. Just watch the "spicy" level and ask for extra bread to eat with. We LOVE the rice with pistachios but even the plain white rice has a very special flavour..slightly like ginger and butter.. The orange lentils are delicious, as are the lamb on the bone, the chickpea salad, and my favourite: amazing eggplant appetiser. They also do take out quickly..perfect!

I ordered the Kabuli plaw, and honestly, it was so tasty I briefly considered proposing to it. Overall, I had a great time and highly recommend this place--though ironically, I also recommend making a reservation unless you enjoy bonding with strangers in the waiting area.
