We set up a sting for this time, he did the same thing. Pulled in the driveway wrote out a receipt, came up to the front door took the check and left the receipt. He's a cheat and the thief. When my wife called to tell him to bring the check back and that she saw what he did he first said "oh no, you must be mistaken, I did the work". When he came back to hand off the check, he said "OK, yeah I didn't feel good today. That's why I didn't do the work". You know what.
