Larry... they say ask for him.. that's crazy. First, he is very dishonest. I got my vehicle from…read moreCarvana and it had many undisclosed and unaddressed issues. There was lots of undocumented damage including a bad transmission and bad torque converter. SilverRock tells me the vehicle needs to go to one of their approved "in network" transmission specialists. We choose Norman, Oklahoma as that's the closest location to where we live. The manager (the person previously mentioned) did seem calm, friendly, agreeable, and informative at first. We were glad to have found that location and he made it seem like he knew cars and transmissions better than anyone. I felt we were in good hands. He personally gave us updates and a timeline for repairs. He explained the process.. ok, great. Now, next what happened was we waited for all the approvals as we needed an entire transmission R&R (Remove and Replace). SilverRock approved. Great! However, we were given a timeline and none of those times were accurate. It caused for several unnecessary missed work days.. we looked past that. There were reasons (excuses), fine. We accepted the uncertainty of time estimates. No problem. After near to two weeks we returned to pick up the vehicle and following a quick conversation I decided that once I got home I'd have a look under the hood. Something about the conversation I had just didn't feel right and I figured I should have a look. The first thing I noticed was that when I looked into the engine bay I could see the ground below. That was weird. No vehicle I've ever owned or had to replace fluids in was ever in a condition where I could see the floor. I know that a protective shield plate was missing and it was indeed the one they have to remove to do transmission work. The second thing I noticed was that the grounding strap that connected to the TCM (TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE) was just dangling loose. It had to be disconnected during the replacement and was not reconnected. I contacted the car seller and insurance company and they told me to take the vehicle back to be properly reconnected and that it was an incomplete service. I was not pleased. When I brought my vehicle back I spoke to the manager (the person aforementioned).. right to my face and immediately HE BEGAN TO LIE. I TOLD HIM THE GROUND STRAP THAT CONNECTED TO EITHER THE PCM/TCM was left disconnected and dangling. Instead of accepting responsibility and accountability he told me right to my face that CHRYSLER/JEEP PUTS THAT STRAP THERE BUT IT DOES NOTHING. ACCORDING TO AAMCO'S MANAGER, "IT'S AN EXTRA PART THEY JUST THROW IN THERE AND IT SERVES NO PURPOSE." Now, I already know what that grounding strap does. It ensures the transmission they installed and it's computer components receive the correct and steady voltage to function and prevents damage to the components that include surges, low voltage, and fluctuating static that will destroy the parts related to heat and improper readings and calibration. In no way does Jeep just "throw that in there" to serve as an "extra courtesy" part that serves no purpose. I explained to him that that was ridiculous, and he doubled down on that lie. Next, he tried to get out of the missing "belly pan"/splash shield they removed to get to the transmission and never reinstalled. He told me that "It may have been removed and one of my guys saw it and took it thinking it was junk".. he admitted he has a guy that comes there and takes parts that are laying around. That was crazy to me. He then said that the plate was never on the vehicle when they got it. That statement was false. ALSO, WERE THAT THE CASE THEY SHOULD HAVE DOCUMENTED IT AND MENTIONED THAT TO SILVERROCK SO THEY COULD APPROVE AN ORDER FOR A REPLACEMENT OF THAT $200+ "belly pan". Next that man told me I didn't need that part.. that it mostly served a cosmetic function and was not needed. I already know that in reality that shield protects the engine, belts, alternator, and other engine components from damage from water and debris. He tried to convince me that is was simply a part I did not need. Then after agreeing to order and install a new one because IT WAS NEVER DOCUMENTED BY A TECHNICIAN THAT THE SHIELD WAS NOT THERE WHEN MY VEHICLE HAS BROUGHT IN (it was there, they took it off) he still called around and tried to get out of it. To sum things up..the management at that AAMCO location is DISHONEST, INATTENTIVE to DETAILS, NEGLIGENT, AND "UNAPOLOGETIC". (No apology was ever offered to me for their blunders.) I'm still a bit perplexed as to why an adult would stand there and lie like a small child as opposed to admitting fault. I won't tell anyone to avoid this AAMCO location.. that should be obvious. I will say I ABSOLUTELY AM NOT PLEASED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE and I'll be working with several corporate departments and possibly the Oklahoma Attorney General's office in tandem to have my grievances and observations appropriately documented and addressed.

Took my 2018 Buick Encore in to get a coolant leak fixed. First repair was the water pump and they…read moredone an oil change for free which was nice. But my oil was milky and they didn't say anything, which means there was coolant in the system. And I tell them my coolant is still leaking so they finally get the head gasket fixed a second time I had to take it in. Well coolant was still leaking after that, so I fixed it all myself since they couldn't fix it the first couple times. First was a coolant hose had a crack in it, second that brand new water pump they installed the bolts wasn't tight at all and that's where the coolant was leaking through and there was missing bolts, also the water pump gasket looked non existent. So first repair paid $800 for nothing...And when they said they replaced the water pump, they didn't because I had to buy a whole new one. So they didn't do any of their inspections on if it wasn't leaking coolant. And I even asked them and they said yes which they didn't. So the only good thing they did was the head gasket that was about it...$700 wasted.
