I stopped by Affordable Smog on my lunch break to get the basic smog check required by the DMV, and this place made the whole process way too easy. I was in and out so fast I still had time to grab lunch. The price was actually affordable, (pun fully intended), and the service was friendly and professional. The tech told me the wait time and the cost upfront, and both were exactly what he said. No surprises, no upselling, no nonsense. Just quick, clear, honest service, which is exactly what you want when you're squeezing an errand into a busy day. There's seating inside if you don't feel like waiting in your car or on the couple of chairs outside, which is a nice touch for a spot that moves this fast. Fast service, fair pricing, and communication that doesn't waste your time. I'll definitely be back and will be recommending them to friends and family. read more

I loved my experience here, the small technician was very quick, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave me advice so that I can do things more efficiently for my next visit when I do have one. I feel that his pricing was fair considering I've had small test that were way more expensive took longer, and where I felt professionalism was a second thought. Absolutely would come back again. read more

On 2/15/26 I had a check engine light on my 2020 traverse. I took it to Autozone and ended up having a P0420 code. I called Affordable Smog on 2/16/27 and after explaining my situation the person who assisted me explained that CA has extended emissions laws that should cover the repairs. Instead of trying to make money, he saved me hundreds of dollars by providing information that would cover all costs and expenses. I definitely recommend this shop because if a person is willing to share advice that would lose them money it's shows their professionalism, integrity, and ethics! read more

This was just the most pleasant experience for having to do something I know nothing about. Amir was gracious and treated me like I was the only customer that day, yet the place was hoppin'. It was quick and painless. I had left my smog paperwork at home and he assured me he could still do it and send it to the DMV electronically sans my paperwork. It was very reassuring and put my anxieties at ease. I'll be back. read more

So I went to Affordable smog at 8:45am in hopes to get in by 9am when they open. Says they open up at 9:00am yet I sat in the parking lot till 9:15 and no one open the shop ? Now I have to go to another smog place that now has been open already and will now wait longer because this place can't open on time !! If your planning an early morning smog don't count on this place to be open on time . I guess they show up when they feel like it. read more

Came in to smog my 2012 Kia Rio and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately my debit card wasn't activated, my fault, so I couldn't pay. They were so understanding and let me drive home to get some cash. Best part is that they send the certificate straight to the DMV so you can renew your registration online!! Definitely going back when I need to. read more

I really can only echo the rave reviews others have given about this place. Last year when I had to smog my SUV, I decided to give this little place a try. My normal smog place in Redlands had moved and quite frankly I'd rather gargle steaming yak vomit than go to the smog shop around the corner from where I live due to the atrocious customer experiences I've had there. The yelps I read we're glowing so I thought why not? Excellent decision on my part. This little family owned smog place is on the corner of baseline and palm across from 3D Donuts. It's certainly nothing fancy to look at, but that's fine by me. The owners were very friendly and accommodating . They even took the time needed to warm the car up before the test! My SUV passed with flying colors and the price was more than reasonable. More importantly...they didn't treat me like I was a moron and did make me feel like a welcome customer. What's more I don't think I was there longer than 30 minutes...bonus! Definitely a place to patronize when the time comes! Can't recommend this place enough! read more
