Our key just wouldn't work in the lock. We were LOCKED OUT at midnight - in 100 degree heat !!! Cooper's sent out their guy and he was amazing. He tried everything in the book to get into that trailer. He laid on his back for 3 hours !!!! It was HOT out !! He took extreme care not to damage our unit. I've never seen somebody so dedicated. Heck, I would've given up after 20 minutes. It was hot, the bugs were flying, it was pitch dark and he had minimal tools to work with. Finally, our hero popped the lock with a screwdriver (after obtaining my permission). We can't thank our guy enough for saving us from having to find a hotel at 3am, spending the money it would've taken and going thru the hassle of dealing with the same problem the following day !!! So he gave me one of his with no extra charge. The key wasn't registering to the engine. So he checked the ECM and all fuses. The fuses were good, but my ECM was done for (we anticipated this, which is why it was at the shop). Since he was only able to program the keys to the truck itself and not the engine, he only charged me for cutting the 1 key that he gave me. I will always recommend him to everyone for their locksmith needs!
