On April 29 five men worked for seven hours and transformed a barren piece of earth into a beautiful stream and pond setting. On April 30 we began watching birds utilize the waterfalls for bathing. The folks at Affordable Ponds did a great job. To start with, they were careful not to damage the adjacent patio as they moved tons of rock into the back yard. They worked with team precision. I took photos throughout the whole process. Mid-way through I thought "How can this come out well?". As the work progressed, it was fascinating to watch the transformation. These guys are masters. All of a sudden I could see the pond, stream and waterfalls take shape. Wow! In the end they did the finishing touches. They added waterfall lighting, planted a variety of plants, and cleaned up.
